What I like? The view and the outdoor seating especially. That's one of the main attractions. My favorite spot in Jamaica for sushi is Trident hotel. But in Kingston this is right on par with East and Majestic.

There's nothing I dislike. Some things could be better such as the ambience for the indoor section. I think the decor is the weakest aspect of Sora. Outside should really have umbrellas for persons wanting to sit outside in the daylight.

The service is good and they have top shelf beverages which I like. It's good for hosting parties and the sushi prices are right where they should be. You can get a wide variety of rolls and Japanese foods off the menu and nice cocktails.

Overall just up the decor and you've got a five star rating

Still a great place to dine for ambience, excellent waiting service and delicious meals. Always impressed by the decor and the promptness of the waiting staff. The place is always immaculate. If you want to impress someone, please take them here. You won’t break the bank either. Great for couples, friends, night caps, and after work.

Service was good but the food portions were small. Wine selection was super limited and we asked to make a change to the order (to not put lettuce on the plate with the salmon carpaccio) and they said they couldn't make that simple change. The ambiance is nice and its quiet

I haven’t been to his restaurant in a while but I hope it has remained the same or gotten better. My previous experiences here were very pleasant from start to finish. The ambience, the service, the food, everything was splendid. The view is amazing and the staff appear to be well trained. It is bar far one of the best Asian restaurants in my opinion in Kingston.

Excellent service and staff, the decor even on a rainy day was inviting and clean. Our order was taken correctly and delivered quickly by a courteous waitress. My Strawberry mojito done with fresh strawberry was very nice and our meal made with fresh ingredients done to order made a world of difference to our dining. Looking forward to my return dining experience.

It was a good experience overall. The food and flavors were definitely different.
Our table had a waiter buzzer which I found really cool. So we could easily get attention of a waiter, even though the results was otherwise.
Our only problem was the wait staff seemed very impersonal. We waited quite a bit before we could order. Maybe the night was too busy.
Also, my God, the stairs The name definitely speaks to the journey to the skies lol .. Ladies, flats are recommended.
I hope they get an elevator soon.

I have been to Sora 2 times now, and both experiences were quite nice. The food was good and the ambience is what I particularly like. You have the the option of eating indoors or outdoors, but if the weather permits, outdoors is definitely better. You are about 4 storeys high, which allows your a view of Kingston and some of the beautiful hills in the city. The prices are about $$, and the customer service is good. They use a button call system, where when you press your button your waiter or waitress comes to your aid. It allows for you to dine without interruption, and when needed you can call your server. The biggest downfall is that the building has no elevator, so if you are disabled or have difficulty climbing stairs, it may not be a first choice for you. Otherwise Sora can be a nice spot for a family, but even more so for a date, as it provides a romantic ambience, with good food and service. I recommend it.

I found the staff to be pleasant, love the fact that you can dine inside or out on balcony near the bar. The dividers give sense of privacy and the food is good though I wasn't impressed by dessert.

One of my favourite features is the "call button" each table has, makes you get the attention of your server when you need to.

Word of caution for the ladies, you'll have to walk 3 flights of stairs to get to Sora (Gents be prepared to give a hand while ascending and descending).
