A special THANK YOU to a wonderful flower company, Shields and Shields! Great name for a great business. I was impressed with the service I received, as well as the politeness and friendliness of the man I talked to. This company not only has a great name, but a commitment to service that even I, as a former #1 giver of top-notch customer service, recognize as high-class. The company is tech savvy, with a presence on facebook, whatsapp, and their own website which works and is updated - yet they are also personal. I felt taken care of when an issue arose and that, as a poor man, my money went to good use. Every attempt was made to ensure my loved one received the wonderful, fragrant bouquet of flowers I had ordered, and she agrees that Shields and Shields is among the very best flower shops on the entire island, if not *the* top shop to stop at and buy some beautiful flowers. So thankful to Shields and Shields. Being in the US I was extremely happy to find that they had an online website that I was able to order flowers for my mother's birthday. The order was placed online with an user friendly website and 24 hours later the beautiful Doral arrangement was delivered to my mother in Jamaica. In speaking with her, she said the persons who delivered her flowers were so pleasant. Thank you for making my mother's day, for being efficient and professional and responsive. Thank you also for providing this online service that allows persons abroad to send gifts to loved ones. Keep up the good work and God bless.

I Ordered flowers while out if the country and needed it delivered by a specific time during the day. Prices are on the higher side of what's available in Kingston but the customer service is good and the flowers are fresh and vibrant colors. They actually saved my wedding from disaster, by getting us last minute roses from South America after our original supplier couldn't fill the order.

Emailed them twice to make sure it was sent Sunday. They assured me they would deliver Sunday. They instead delivered Saturday. Obviously this was not intentional, which I'm not sure is good or bad.

These flowers are very expensive. You can get an arrangement like their $62 (+$15 delivery) for less than $20 in the states. They also charge 17% "sales tax" for US customers. Last time I checked, the US doesn't collect sales tax from Jamaica and the highest sales tax in the US is just over 10%. It's basically an extra fee because you aren't Jamaican, as if you are too dumb to notice. Can you imagine an American company charging a special Jamaican tax? LOL

On the bright side, they got them there and she liked them. So if that's all you care about, I'd say go for it.

If I could give them more stars I would. They made my Mother's birthday so special she cried at the sight of it. It was an immaculate arrangement that lit up the room and her heart. They even went above and beyond to meet my peculiar delivery requests. I even received a phone call when they had issues at the delivery site, they waited to ensure my mom got her roses, other companies would have left and maybe returned based on my experiences. Thank you so much and keep on doing great work. I will be using this company from all my floral needs. God bless.

I'm located in Maryland US, I send an email to the customer service rep they reply quickly to a question I had . Then I called to make i did the process correctly online. I got a hold of a Mr.Mark a customer service rep his was service was impeccable he explained the process to me and the item in details!. My item was shipped out within two hours to my friend, " he was very pleased with the orchids he received today he said it was beautiful and fresh decor very nicely. She made me look look today.

My girlfriend went on a one week study trip to Kingston, and she was very stressed about the travel and getting everything done while she was there. I wanted to send her flowers, but I only had a general address for the dorms she was staying in, at the University campus. I ordered flowers from Shield's and Shield's, and gave them the address I had. I couldn't get in touch with my girlfriend except when she was on campus, and I only had a loose itinerary for her day. Still, Shield's and Shield's made a beautiful flower arrangement, and managed to get it to her on the day. She was so happy and the envy of her group. You guys helped bring two hearts closer together, across an ocean, and I appreciate your help so much. Your customer service was excellent.

I live in the States and needed to send some roses to someone in Jamaica immediately. After searching online for what felt like hours I found Shields & Shields Flowers and within minutes of browsing their site I knew they were who I wanted to use. I spoke to Geoffrey twice within that day and both times he was beyond helpful and seemed to be a very nice man. I ordered the flowers and had them delivered to Portmore all within 10 hours. I'd recommend them to anyone. Great customer service and the roses were beautiful. Thank you guys and you'll definitely be getting my business again.
