Food is good but you only have buffet at lunch, snacks are sandwich not buffet style same for breakfast. Drinks are fresh not much alcohol or techniques or entertainment. Rooms are outdated took not a 3 star restaurant at all.

Overall, we were very disappointed with this hotel and with the Air Canada Vacations, which offered this vacation package. Firstly, we expected to see much more international tourists in this hotel. However, in fact, there were about 80 - 90% local tourists from Jamaica. Secondly, we were used to have (in Mexico, Cuba and Dominican Republic provided by Sunwing) an entertainment program / show every night, which was not provided. There was only a singer singing reggae songs of Bob Marley and one very boring, poor attempt to organize a singing contest / talent show with the guests and employees of the hotel, as participants. Thirdly, the food was awful, except some fruits. It was 99% the same every day. We tried 2-3 different fish and none was edible for us. The jerk chicken was OK. Cornflakes and milk were missing from the breakfast menu. Even the cocktails were lacking in quality. The same cocktails ordered in the "Sky Explorer" zip-lining park nearby were much better in taste and look. Fourthly, some of the rooms looked damaged and not properly maintained, such as the pool table / gaming room. The gift shop was closed and empty. Fifthly, the Air Canada representative was lacking the professionalism we use to receive in similar cases. For every single excursion that we have signed up for: the driver was late and we needed to call 2-3 times to follow up. So, I do not think we will use Air Canada Vacations any more.

My family and I stayed at this hotel early September 2017. I am sure in its A-day (1970"s) was a beautiful hotel. Our two bed oceanfront suite was very spacious. It was clean, but very old, decor from the 1970's. The hotel have great bones to be something wonderful. The problem is the management in all departments need an overall. Dining room staff was friendly, housekeeping was great, the food was horrible. It was not usual to wait an hour or more for breakfast, or even simple items like juice, coffee, and cereal. Very beautiful property, but in need of serious remodeling to bring it up todate. It is definitely nother a three (3) star hotel, but their prices are the same as other 3 stars that are much nicer. I don't think they even care, we spoke to the management, they know it's bad.

Worst hotel I've ever been to, I don't know if it should be considered a hotel. The staff is horrible not to mention the hotel. The rooms are small, the food is horrible(not much to choose from) the bar service was horrible (I ordered a Pina colada and it was so horrible it made my stomach hurt) I drank Pepsi for my entire stay overall this hotel doesn't deserve 1 star don't waste your money here

I stayed here for a week for my birthday May 30, 2017. And my stay was AMAZING.. the staff was very nice and helpful. I felt spoiled not to bring my bags to the room and have a drink waiting. The front desk lady was nice and helpful every day. The waitress Susan was nice and helpful. The bar tender Smiley was awesome and he was always smiling.. The waiter Crazy T was helpful and attentive.. I love it

TERRIBLE!!! Last night one of the security guards asked me if my driver wasn't going home because only people who have reservations can stay there, so he held out his hand I guess for me to pay him to keep his mouth shut. Then today I got up to go to my car and it was gone. So I went to the front desk for them to role back the cameras to see if they saw the person. All they told me was that they only saw when I gave the guard money. Mind you their cameras run 24/7. It must have been an inside job. I will never stay here again they cost me $4,000 US. They lucky I had that amount in my account or else it would be hell to pay! I DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!

Came here for lunch as part of a cruise excursion. It's a very modest hotel/resort. The beach is very small and you can only go out about 20 feet before it's roped off so you can't actually swim in any deep water. The color of the water is nice though. The wait staff at the restaurant buffet are extremely pushy coming round every 5 minutes to ask if you want to purchase an alcoholic beverage. Once we ordered one the waitress incessantly hounded us to pay. She literally came around every 3 minutes telling us to pay after we finish lunch. OK, we get it Drinks aren't free and we will pay but there really is no need to hound us to pay every 3 minutes. We had just sat down from the "buffet" which consisted of very undercooked pasta, some lukewarm curried mutton, and a tasty beef patty. Set your expectations accordingly when coming to this place. Oh, we were also ordered to take pictures by a hotel staff member with a run of the mill digital camera and then pressured to purchase it for $10. When we said no he lowered it to $5. So if you do want to buy the picture make sure to ask for the lower price.
