Clean and spacious rooms situated on the cliffs. All rooms have a verandah with a full or partial view of the ocean. But all definitely benefit from hearing the sounds of the ocean crashing against the cliffs below. Ease of parking directly in front of the rooms. During my visit, approximately 20 -30% of the rooms were occupied, so parking was not a challenge and facilities were not over crowded. Hot was is available, but very basic minimum amenities available. Coffee and tea not available in rooms - only available in the common dining area. No iron available in room. Breakfast options limited and basic. Service areas to that need to improve: service in dining area, landscaping, maintenance of common areas, attention to detail for comfort of guests.

This place is great for a purely relaxing visit. All the rooms face the sea and you hear the steady cadence of the sea throughout your time. There are many places to sit and just look out at the view. The rooms are really nice, the staff is friendly and there are many beaches nearby if you want to go spend the day. WiFi is present but intermittent when the hotel is fully booked. The food is expensive so bring your own food if you are on a budget.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on our way back to Portland from Reach Falls. We enjoyed great service and food. The salad and fruit starters were forgettable but our entrees were great. We had Curry Goat and the Chicken Special. For dessert we had bananas flambe. It was an odd presentation and the bananas were sliced so thin that the pieces were overcooked. Think warm, rum soaked baby food. Again, the entrees and service were excellent.

This is by far the most awesome Portland experience we have had. The service was 2nd to none, the food was great. Ask for Monique & Terrencethey made the service personal. If u need an escape from the hustle & bustle of life and a chance to relax in a clean, friendly environmentSea Cliff Resort is the place to go. This is one of the most beautiful resorts in Jamaica, small footprint, amazing staff, great food , the rooms are amazing and not to mention the view! The owners go above and beyond for the guests. I would highly recommend this place to anyone , local or otherwise

Love the environment very tranquil. The room are earthy and airy with ceiling to floor windows. Every balcony has a hammock. Love the place! My go to place to relax and dine.

My husband and I celebrated our 16 th wedding anniversary there and it was awesome. Staff were very friendly and kind and the room and the view was breathtaking. Hoping to return in the summer it is a must visit!!!

At first we experienced some hickups but the reception personnel moved quickly to improve our experience at Sea Cliff Hotel & Spa. We were extended excellent customer service hence I felt the need to write this sincere review. Try Sea Cliff.. it's a real chance to relax!
Everyone says the restaurant if pricy, but you are in that relaxed mood, who wants to drive 30 - 45 minutes to get food? I think it's worth the cost. I do suggest that you bring your snacks and juice, water etc.
The staff is courteous but could use some polishing. The views are breath taking and the sound of the sea is the best part of your experience.
I will definitely recommend Sea Cliff and I will be back!response / report this review -

The restaurant is overpriced and not particularly good, they general service is middling at best. However, the rooms are clean and look really good and the view is to die for. Perfect temperature at all times, no AC needed, just sleep with your balcony door open.
This hotel is best enjoyed as a relaxation get away lounge in your room. If you need to eat head down the road to long bay for some fried chicken or a little further for some jerk in Boston. There's also reach falls about 20 minutes away or Frenchman's Cove and san San 20 minutes in the other direction in case you'd like done day time activity.

We had an awesome experience here! Felt like our own secret hideaway. Staff was courteous and honest (I left my purse full of cash and they called and returned it - not a penny missing). We will definitely be returning.

The view is amazing! The rooms are rustic and serene, so its a perfect place to relax and get away with the family. I can't say enough about just how peaceful it is. The sound of the ocean, the sunrise, the architecture, its breath taking. The staff is courteous and welcoming and they even have a dog!
Important to note, its not your typical tourist site, it doesn't boast the inclusive set up of a Breezes resort and the beach is not accessible from the property. It is literally on a cliff! That being said, I would have preferred if there was a fridge in the bedroom and an electric kettle. That was a major drawback because they offer square meals at specific times and the menu is a little more on the expensive side. (Plan ahead and bring your own meals). You'll spend most of the time exploring the property and the surrounding sites anyway.
Update: they were super accommodating and even offered us the kettle. Definitely recommended.response / report this review -

A true gem! This is not your ordinary resort it forces you into a state of relaxation and wipes the stress away. The rooms are rustic but with upgrades that makes a modern girl feel comfortable. The staff ensures that you have a true Jamaican experience with hospitality and the food will keep you coming back for more. This place is a true getaway that I will certainly be returning to great for couples and the entire family. The one draw back was when I realized I had to leave.

The view is beautiful, the rooms large and airy, the bed comfortable, but although good plus points, they do not necessarily offset the bad.
Check-in was per island standard, nobody quite knew what to do.
Restaurant food was nice, although nobody serving could describe the contents of the dishes.
Chief complaint was the room. Yes, it was raining when stayed, and this meant we couldn't enjoy the balcony, but the roof leaked. Fine spray of water coming in through the light fitting above the bed, and the rivulet running down the wall near the bathroom were somewhat off-putting. On investigation, this was not the first time the leaks had happened.

It's good of u want to stay at somewhere rustic , you could hear everything that's happening above your room if someone is staying at the room above yours so even if your making love just be careful, there's no tv or anything electronic in the rooms and they need to add bedside tables, the power went a couple times for hours and when there's no power the plumbing doesn't work but the place looks good other wise

BeAutiful atmosphere and perfect for a romantic getaway. They seem to be adding on to the resort and will have more Amenities and services in the near future but for now enjoy the picture perfect views cliff side
