  Big up Lenny at Murphy's, and Mark Swainback at Zimbali Retreat for making the list. I remember when Lenny was first getting started, and I would spend entire days there, swinging in a hammock, and discussing the ins, and outs of the food business. Zimbali Retreat is one of my favorite places on the island to get away from everything, and just decompress. It only takes about 10 minutes once you get there, and you're so relaxed that you have to remember to breathe.

  Now you have more ways to book at RockyTop Retreat. We are now listed on airbnb.com. Be aware that airbnb does charge a fee for booking so you're better off using the "Book Now" button, or sending us an email to arrange a booking, and pay cash on arrival.

  Jane and I are pleased to announce the grand opening of RockyTop Retreat. It's been a long undertaking, but we are finally open, and actually have our first guests already. If you're in the area, and you know where we are, stop by and check us out.

  Offering an affordable alternative to the higher priced resorts and hotels in Negril. Located on 1 1/2 acres of private land in Negril's Redground community. We have 1 private Villa that has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large living ha...ll, and full kitchen. The Villa can accommodate 2 people in each bedroom, and also has a fold-out futon bed in the living hall for an additional guest. Also located on the property are 2 private rooms that each have private baths. No kitchen facilities are provided with these rooms. Each of these rooms can accommodate 2 guests.

  Property Features: Swimming Pool Free Parking Located within minutes walk to Negril's famous 7 mile beach, and downtown shopping area. We are also centrally located between the beach and the cliff of Negril's West End District. Just a short taxi ride away. Airport Shuttle available at an additional cost. Contact us prior to arrival to arrange pick-up. Private tours to any of the island's attractions can also be arranged.

  Want to stay in Jamaica, but don't want the hustle and bustle of the resorts, or the higher prices. Come stay with us and get to experience the real Jamaica.
