Can’t beat the view at this place! However the food is pretty good, service is ok and it is somewhat pricey. If you’re staying at The Rockhouse, you will most likely end up here at some point. One thing to note is that they take forever to get your bill and getting change (I’ve noticed this throughout Jamaica) was super time consuming and tedious here. They have to run to the front desk and run back? That’s what they told us at least. Anyway, the view here is awesome and it’s very convenient if you’re staying at The Rockhouse.

I've eaten at Rockhouse on four occasions and the service is always excellent; the location is divine but one caveat, don't get the lobster. The last two times I have had the lobster it has been overcooked. My most recent visit to Rockhouse I had the jerk lobster which was pasted with too much jerk seasoning which overpowered any taste of lobster. For the price point the lobster is unacceptable. The Coconut shrimp is excellent as are most of the dishes. The restaurant is pricey but aside from the lobster, the food, service and location are worth the price.

Food food food. Seafood lover, so of course I went with a lot of seafood options (lol no I didn't eat all this alone). That lobster though, it is gooooooood!!! OMG! The spices/seasonings are just right (#spicy). Appetizers were shrimp cocktail and grilled calamari. Curried shrimp and jerked lobster main course. Ice cream and bread pudding for dessert

We were part of a group party for lunch so we were only able to get a brief look at the grounds, spa, etc.

Restaurant - excellent service & food. We had a mix of appetizers that were delicious & fresh. Tons of great appetizers & my favorite was the coconut shrimp & the plantain chips. I had one of the fish dishes & it was light & delicious.

Grounds/Hotel - Interesting set up with pathways, cliffs, etc.Tons of great outdoor sitting areas facing the water. Of course, don't go for the beaches but if you want your own little spot on the cliffs, this is the place. Be careful getting in the water though. Several of my friends took a quick dip in the public area and were stung - one by a jelly fish and one by an urchin. Step lightly!

Spa - Also looks amazing! I love the little pathway to the Spa. I popped in there to check out the area and everyone was super friendly & accommodating.

Although we were a huge party of 19service was decent enough to give 3 stars and the food was good as well.
Know how much the exchange rate is before going here if you plan to use Jamaican Dollars because the menu is in American Dollars. The waiter told us it was $125 Jamaican dollars to $1 US dollars when the rate was actually $102 JMD to $1 USD. We didn't even find out until the next day but the damage was already done smh. I recommend just using USD.

Fantastic food and service right on the water. Bummed because they charged me $15 for a taxi dropoff even though the hostess told me it was free.
