Awesome view and river bathing experience once you are there but getting there is not for the faint hearted. Deep rural, rustic, rugged terrain the closer you get to the site that will challenge driving skills, not for novice drivers, 4WD preferable. But it's a visit you won't forget soon; it's the Niagara of St Thomas with pure, clean, cold river water to soak, bathe and some spots for diving. Room to play, cook and chill if it's not too crowded.

I enjoyed the place. I enjoyed the freedom and the scenery. All you need to get there is transportation fit for the rugged road surface and proper directions. All you need to enjoy it is good food and fun company. A picturesque place to unwind.

Great location to relax and take in nature. Carry your own food and drink as this is in the middle of no where. Some locals jerk chicken on site and sell refreshment but this may only be on holidays or when they see a crowd. Road to get there is ruff, literally driving through river beds at times but my 2WD made it with no problem. Water shoes or crocs are HIGHLY recommended as you have to walk through the stony river to get to the falls it self.

NB. This is not a naturally occuring waterfall. Its is a dam that has stood for many years and has really become apart of the land.

Beautiful but the road is horrible. I suggest wearing water shoes. It's best to park and walk, but there a little area not too far from the falls, where the guys will suggest that you drive across/through the river to park, be careful because if not, you could get stuck.

At first I was disappointed because I didn't realize it wasn't a natural waterfall, but a remnant of an old hydroelectric plant Once I adjusted my perspective, I really appreciated the combination of manmade and naturemade beauty!

bring water shoes if you're not used to walking on sharp stones! my feet were killing but he cool, fresh water was worth the pain!

Love it because it's less developed that Dunn's River falls. Liked the undisturbed nature alongside the ruins of the plant. Amazing hills and scenery! Be prepared for a short hike and some light climbing to get there. My 8 year old and friend's 6 year old could handle it so it's not bad. Get a local to show you the way if it's your first time and give them some money for their time. It's worth it as our guide stayed with us the whole time and showed us the way back and helped with the kids.

There is a stand that sells chicken and festival there. Didn't see any other facilities.

    Definitely worth the trip!

Very picturesque. You and your group will likely have the place to yourself all day, as it is mainly visited by residents of the community in which it is situated, Hillside, St. Thomas.
