The service is okay but I didn't like the fact that customer has to pay 4% credit card fee for a big hardware. These hardware in Spanish Town is robbing customers. Because I am sure credit card fee for the month is not $1 million dollars. Customers should stop all big business like Phil's Hardware to rob them with these fees.. I am sure other businesses in Kingston get more business because this fee is not passed on to the customers. Phil's hardware stop be cheap and pay the credit card fee for your business.

Phil’s customer service especially the ones on the phone need training immediately. I called to obtain prices and the female customer service representative that I spoke with sounded annoyed, impatient and curt. I will take my business elsewhere and will advise others to do so as well

Worst hardware store in the world I think. Poor customer service and long wait times. For some items such as plumbing supplies, screws, and electrical supplies, you have to join a line and get a ticket with code of what items you need, then join another long line for the cashier. Then after paying you join a line at the same counter you got the ticket to pick up the supplies. Too many lines. The counter for miscellaneous supplies should have a cashier. That would solve it. I usually go to smaller hardware stores and pay more as my time is more valuable than waiting in lines at Phils. Like most hardware stores in Jamaica a lot of the products are made in China for the 3rd world markets. So very poor quality. Avoid Phils if you can.

Phil's is still one of the great in Spanish Town area when it comes to (hardware, electrical, painting and housing supplies.) The supplies are affordable.

I HATE their poor customer service. I can never get anyone on the phone and if I luckily do which I have to call probably 20 times they put me on hold for no apparent reason Kmt!!! I need materials for my house and I choose to call these people for a quote however they don’t appreciate my business which I can definitely take elsewhere. I really hate this place. They get me so upset and angry!!!! I’ll choose any hardwares over them any day even the expensive Hi-pro at least they answer the phone

Offers a variety of things. The prices are very reasonable and finding a delivery person is easy as they have persons who contracts with them. Look for the stickers on the side of their trucks.

The renovations and new layout provides a great shopping experience. It is more spacious and you can interact with the products and view prices. I did not see employees on the floor to provide assistance where necessary.

Recently renovated, well stocked hardware. Excellent place for all your construction needs. They sell cement, steel, concrete blocks ( they manufacture themselves), power tools (circular, chop & table saws, drills, grinders, routers, etc), hand tools, paints, wheelbarrows, doors, faucets, electrical fixtures (conduits, receptacles, handy boxes, wire), sinks, toilets, windows and lots more.
Only problem is they don't have a delivery service, HOWEVER there are usually about two dozen delivery trucks of various sizes available for hire just outside. Just try and negotiate BEFORE you hire one as they would love to negotiate with after your goods are already loaded up on their truck. Tell them where you are going and what you are transporting beforehand and get the best price

An ok hardware store that have been around for many years. I've noticed that the store brings a certain brand machinery and tools "Truper" or "Struper". It seems like it had undergone a number of changes including sheer quantity of stocks. Wheelchair entrance is available.

Things are checked before leaving to ensure that you get your things and the right amount. There's no problem with parking either.
