Food was OK,

Service was bad, the girls were not really friendly and don't like they're job. All other guests were looking to us and we felt a little bit dangerous at the evening so we decided to change our food to take away.

My chicken was really dark and too long on the flame. It was very dry. Rice and vegetables were good so 3 of 5 is OK

Cici our waitress was awesome and attentive.
The food was super good . We walked with the tour guides and they highly recommended this place . It lived up to the expectations .

This place was great. My husband and I also met the owner Clint, what a great guy. To Darren Serhal who thinks a local individual owned shop in Jamaica has the same buying power of Costco - an American membership only wholesale club traded on the stock exchange with revenue exceeding $116 Billion, you are just cheap and have no concept of how business works. $9 for a plate of food is very reasonable in a tourist area. I have paid the same if not more at local restaurants in the USA. Not only that, in NYC you can expect to pay x2 to x3 the price for less food. This is an authentic Jamaican meal. That is what you are paying for. Rotisserie from Costco is $4.99 because it is a wholesale price. If you want to have an authentic Jamaican experience come to Pepper's. Wifi is also free there. For $9 its an excellent deal, otherwise stay on your cruise ship and eat their free American food. 🙃 I wish Pepper's continued sucess.

Jerk chicken and pork were really amazing. Be warned, there are no prices on the menu. Ask for prices before ordering your food so you don't get "scammed." When I went with a group of 4 of us, we ordered 3 plates, 2 sodas, and 2 mixed drinks. The total came to over $75you do the math. Not much you can do once you get the bill and you don't ask for what everything costs. Either way, this food beats anything here where I live that claim it's Jamaican.

Pepper's has no prices on the menu, so while they charged us $8 for a plate of Jerk chicken the locals were being charged just a couple of bucks. The chicken was very flavorful, although a bit dry. Pepper's has an outdoor pool hall, and there was painfully loud music coming from there.
