Its a nice chill spot to drink a beer, play some competitive game of pool or just to have a nice sweet and juicy fried chicken, even just to chill and enjoying the sea view its a wonderful chill spot .

dont waist your time here the food not good and had to wait 2 hours for my red snapper spoke to owner and he said 'sorry' the deep fat fryer broke that morning..

Slow and not very friendly service. More of a pub atmosphere inside than a restaurant. Food was ok, but the meat comes with alot of bones and fat. Reasonable price considering the quality of the meal. Would not recommend for food.

Ordered 3 servings of wings & fries..to my surprise the fries were tiny bits & pieces with feathers on the wings..informed server who only think an apology would suffice without any consideration for my $$$ spent.
The wait is also too long between placing order & being served. Extremely disappointedreport this review -

Mobay Proper is the go-to place in Montego Bay for the best soup at a competitive price. My dad loved the steamed fish. The atmosphere is nice. The amenities are thoughtful. You are allowed free wi-fi and you can either watch tv, or play pool, or even play dominoes. In fact, if you want to play a good game of dominoes in a decent place in Mobay, I recommend Mobay Proper. The only reason I gave them four stars is due to the poor service from the wait staff. They are unprofessional and slow. Mr. Calvin should invest money into training the wait staff. Overall great experience.
