#1 convenient stop and shop supermarket, would not choose any other supermarket in Santa Cruz over Max value. Staff is very friendly, prices are reasonable

My #1 supermarket. They have a friendly staff. They are so welcoming. There prices are affordable. Though Chinese owned, it is a very friendly place. Everyone that enters this supermarket is known and welcomed. They mangers interact with the kids and always have treats for kids at different period. I would love for them to increase the ground produce sold such as kale, spinach, Brussels sprouts, asparagus etc.

Large supermarket conveniently located in the heart of Santa Cruz. Providing exceptional variety with adequate and convenient underground parking making it ideal for those who drive. Didn't like that there appeared to be only one credit card machine. So there can be a bit of a wait if several individuals choose at the same time to cash out using their cards. Otherwise it was a hassle free experience.

Has a decent variety of foods but not everything. Can be crowded at times but the crowed is mostly at a minimum.

The customer service I would say is ok. One thing that stands out is that the owner will on occasion give out sweets to little kids on a Sunday which I think is nice. Sometimes the guys who will pack your bags at the cashier will assist you to the parking lot with the bags, but not all the time.

The process are not that bad either and they are typical of this size supermarket. There may be some items more expensive or cheaper at other stores. There store is mostly clean which is a good thing. They also have ample parking space under the supermarket, something that most others don't have.

Nice supermarket, they have lots of selection. Would be nice to have a deli/meat market though.
