I just spent my birthday(April 1 - April 3, 2018) here.I totally enjoyed the customer service . The breakfast was delicious for the two mornings. Mackerel Run Down....well prepared and presentation was 10 out of 10. The place was clean and smelling fresh. Perfect for the person or persons who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Suitable for a quiet time that will be well spent.
While the lobby and outdoors is a tad outdated, the Mandeville Hotel has a quaint Charm that makes it acceptable for short term stay if you are on the south coast for business or relaxation. The updated rooms are very nice, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Also, the food is amazing!
Place is old and getting rundown but it's not that bad yet. The meal provided was really good. I enjoyed it. Bathroom near the conference room had leaks evidenced by the water on the floor. That was a turn off. Good experience nonetheless.
Good place to chill with friends say after work to catch up but not so good liquor. Walk way was trashy so that was a turn off. Customer service was good though
Nice and cozy. A little get away from the Mandeville crowd. Staff pleasant and welcoming. Tranquil environment. Love it.
A very decent hotel. The bread and breakfast option is very good. Staff is very good also.
The experience there was good for the most part. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The a.c. works. The heater works. The pool looks nice but water is too cold. Most of the staff are pleasant a few (1 or 2) were kind of grumpy. Overall it is really nice place to stay.
I had a terrible experience here. The area is cold and they had no water heater, the pillow smelt moldy so did the blanket (which we had to call front desk to get) the room and bathroom overall looked outdated!!!! I gave it one star only because the breakfast tasted good.
Lovely quaint and well hidden secret in the heart of Mandeville giving you the feeling of Old World charm with small quiet rooms, pool, good food, restaurant and friendly staff. Would recommend it for business trips in central Jamaica.
Place is not well kept. Walkway is extremely slippery in parts when wet and walking in sneakers. Building could be a lot better maintained as well as the landscaping. Workers are very courteous and friendly...This being the most memorable take away of the entire experience while being there.
My experience there was great. The service was good and the place is clean
They will lie to you and say they don't have any rooms if they believe you're a local resident. Not good for a business
On August 26, 2017, I had my husband's 60th birthday party at this hotel and I would do it again. The staff are so professional and courteous. Whatever we discussed for decorations, food and drinks that we got and more. A special thanks to Ms. Danielle for her exceptional services, just so you know we should have used another hotel in the area but because of Tanielle's professionalism we had to choose Mandeville Hotel, I didn't find any fault with the room either. As I said before I would definitely recommend them. Thanks to the staff as well
It's a nice cozy place to relax. Not much to do as it relates to entertainment.
The bar is great the mix drinks are fabulous the mixologist is very talented its a home away from home. Try it it's quiet and relaxing the pool is great... it's a must visit
It's a very lovely place not because I'm from Mandeville but its very lovely bought my daughter for her birthday and I was shocked to how they delt with the place love it bad good food very good the settings is perfect!!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
This hotel is cool laid-back lil spot in the middle of Mandeville Jamaica with a sports bar and restaurant which is accessible to anyone with out having to stay at the hotel, courteous staff good food and relaxing environment. There is always room for improvement like the whole building needs to be clean painted refurbished newer furniture for the rooms at the prices for a night it's only fair
Within walking distance of the town center...old world charm in a modern setting
It is calm and serene. Rather quaint too
This hotel is in the heart of Mandeville with easy access to transportation and shopping.
No wheelchair access besides that it's not bad
Great accommodation and chill spot but could look a little better.
Conveniently located in the center of town. Quiet and tucked away. Rooms feel a bit run down. Torn window screens and many wasp nests on the windows. WiFi was not working. A/C and hot water in rooms. The Arches restaurant is great. Friendly and helpful staff. Pool looked a bit dirty on the bottom. Nice meeting rooms available.
Its really amazing.... Its quite and cozy....
The service is great, the staff they are really great, start from the front desk, miss Elliot, to the housekeepers, kitchen and maintenance....
The only situation is the TV and cable on and off, channels not showing at times...
I have been here alot, starting from high school... 2015-2016 I have been here every month... My last visit was from February 13 2016, its amazing... I will be back soon....
