The beach environs is currently being upgraded and much to my liking, it's a great place for a family outting, nice sands, various trees and calm waves

This beach has two sections a paid and a free section.The free section is what i am reviewing today. It has all rhe amenities such as bathrooms and changing area however on our visit it was closed. The beach looks abandoned and was filled with garbage. The paid section is operated by the university of the West Indies. You are required to pay on campus, there are group rates and depending on the number of persons in your party you may be required to have a lifeguard. Please confirm prior to making payment.

Private beach owned by the University of the West Indies. The drive from Kingston is tiring but the beach is nice. Grounds are kept clean, few picnic benches. Great place to unwind.

This beach is really beautiful and perfect for children because it's not very deep and the waves are small. No running water to wash off salt water and the beach was a little dirty. But, I had a great time here.

You can walk out for a couple of miles. And still safe. The most beautiful beach ever. This beach has the Most Beautiful Sunset You'll ever see. Also a billion star come out.

It's nice for picnics and family outings. However for serious swimmers the water is a little shallow. There might be an entry charge and they have bathroom facilities.

Great free beach in St Thomas with secure parking (for a small fee), lovely sand beach, grassy bit to kick a ball and shallow water safe for older kids. Great time here we even cooked in the cook shack - fried some breadfruit and fish!!! Look out for the friendly Rastaman on his bike who lives in the hut on the headland. Talk to him about hosting you for a fresh fish cook up and use of his hammocks and a wee boat trip.

The beach has a lot of trash on the shore. However the water is clean and the water is shallow for quite some distance. Not enough trash cans, the showers do not work and I have never seen the beach bar open, unfortunately.
