One the most beautiful places I have been. The resort is amazing. The staff is always in a happy and friendly mood. Food is great with many options. And do I need to say anything about the drinks they are never ending. Garnet is one amazing bartender, he made our stay unforgettable. He and Hopeton always had time to have to have a conversation along with making those amazing. If you go make sure to look them up. We can't wait to get back.

My Fiance and I will definitely visit again in the near future. The food was excellent. Staff were amazing. And our suit beautiful. The pool and Jacuzzi are always clean.

Surprising seaside resort with its old parts, no children and very well located.
Your platform welcomes people with you if you were at home.
Lots of flowers and jungle to calm your mind, with massages, rides and the best, ocean and lots of sun.
Jamaica is an island that was virgin, inhabited by slaves colonized by English, Spanish and etc.
Its view is endless but the food could be better as we speak of a large scale resort.response / report this review -

Had a wonderful experience here. The staff were all wonderful and took great care of us. The cats (def all well cared for) and the bees weren't a problem. The grounds staff even picked us some coconuts when we asked. Highly recommend

"We have found Paradise" What an experience you guys created for us and it was so hard for us to leave. First I must mention Carol who was the most pleasant manager we have ever dealt with. Being Vegan can be hard but after meeting with Chef James and the amazing Chef Anthony we were blown away by the creations from both these guys that they made specially for us. Veggie Burgers on the beach were available at one of the outdoor restaurants we enjoyed daily and were also able to have fresh stone oven cooked grilled Veggie Pizzas from the Pizzeria. Our Butler's Shared and team were also just so fantastic going way over the top of our expectations. Tonia our server who looked after us by the pool and our cabana was also super fantastic with her Rose water mist and endless supply of Red Stripe, Mojitos and Bob Marley's. We miss you guys and will be back to see our new family next season.

Ok, I just returned from my first ever trip to Jamaica, and I was blown away by the experience! This resort is over the top nice and everyone was really friendly. I was nervous because of some of the bad reviews of this resort. This was everything I hoped it would be and more! Yes there are cats there but they are not intrusive in any way they are friendly if you want to pet them and ignore you if you don't. Yes there were some bees (honey bees not yellow jackets or wasps) but only around the bars where there is tons of fruit, juice, and booze around attracting them, it's outside what do you expect? They were not a problem at all! The place was clean, our room was awesome, the drinks were delicious and the food was great! We did have an issue with a couple of cigars and a pack of my girlfriends cigarettes being stolen out of our room which sucks but I guess our bad for not locking them up. To wrap this up I would totally recommend this place to anyone and I would return here again!

We had an amazing time at this all inclusive resort. The staff was fantastic from the second we got off the bus. Also, it was easy to find the bus at the airport! The resort had everything that would be expected and the staff was more than happy to provide excellent service. We were able to book day trips at the hotel with ease and enjoyed all of the accommodations. The convenience of a variety of food options and multiple bars throughout the resort was fantastic! Hope to return here one day! Keep up the great work!

Amazing resort, we stayed for 6 days from Dec 27-Jan 2nd and we were sad to leave. The food, accommodations, and service were excellent. They threw an amazing New Years Eve party with a live band and beautiful decorations. We stayed in an ocean view room in the Sapphire building and it was awesome. Tonia works here as one of the awesome staff members and we loved her rose water spray treatments by the pool! I recommend this resort.

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon the last week of 2017. It was wonderful! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The resort was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We will definitely be back! We got a couple's hot stone massage at the Radiant Spa. Our masseuses Fallon & Desiray were amazing and made us feel so comfortable and relaxed!

This place is amazing! This was my first All Inclusive experience so I picked the smallest resort I could find, I don't like crowds. I was pleased with the results! The resort was 80% full and only had to wait, at most, 5 minutes for drinks or seats at the restaurants.
The food was as expected, the buffet was decent, but the specialty restraints were great.

I had a short stay but the staff made is super pleasant! I want to shout out Robert the bellman, he was most helpful! Jody with nexus, thank you for all you did to get my family to our tour. Jason with entertainment, you did your thing love! Cornell, forgive me but I can't remember which bar we met in but my drinks were on point! Jennifer at the buffet restaurant, thanks for remembering my drink of choice! :-) Martino, thank you for all your help. Judeen, your dancing and singing were very entertaining! To anyone else I forgot, no worries, I'll see you soon and you'll be mentioned in my next review.

We stayed at Jewel's Dunn River Resort from 10/30-11/4 and the experience was amazing! The food was great, the staff was amazing, the room was clean, but more than everything DAMIAN WAS AMAZING! Damian made our whole experience. We probably spent 85% of our time with Damian his drinks are amazing, he is amazing, oh did I say he was amazing? I can't wait to visit again next year! Thank you so much Damian for making this whole experience breathtaking!

I spent four glorious days at Jewels Dunn's River this past weekend and I was in heaven from the moment I got there until I left. The staff, the security, the restaurants and housekeeping was so gracious and lovely to us. The food was sooooooo delicious. The room was clean and luxurious and I just loved every bit of it. If I could touch my heels together and magically relive the weekend there, I would. Having such a hectic job, it was a joy to be there. Two thumbs up guys!

The staff was great, very kind and helpful. If your into live entertainment then this is the place for you. I'm not into live entertainment like that, I prefer to listen to music and dance. The facility was okay my phone in the room wasn't working, so I went down everyday to let them know and everyday they said it will be taken care of, and guess what today is my last day and the phone still does not work, good thing I did not have anything serious going on. One more thing, the internet was terrible, drop after drop after drop. The staff gets 5 STARS🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The food get 5 STARS🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing place to honeymoon. From the moment we got off the bus to walk into the resort it was hands off the suitcases and we were catered to. The staff was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back.

Where do I start!! I just returned home from our trip to Jamaica for my Sweeties birthday and WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE WE HAD at the Dunn's River Resort. I just Love their staff.. The staff was excellent, the food was delicious and the resort was clean and well kept from sun up to sun down. If your looking for somewhere to relax and lounge the Jewel Dunn is the place to be. One thing I will say is that the Jewel Dunn is more of a resort for Relaxation, if your looking to party This may not be the best choice for you. The Hotel does have a night club but it wasn't much to get excited about, no crowd and everyone seemed to be sleep by midnight even on a Friday night. I'll definitely recommend this Hotel five stars from me!!!!

We had our choice to pick anywhere out of the country to vacation, and based on the good reviews we chose Jewel Dunn in Jamaica. The reviews didn't steer us wrong! As soon as we arrived off the bus from the airport, we were greeted like royalty with a cold rag and iced beverage. Our room was beautiful, kept clean, and had the ocean view that we asked for. Our butler, Fabian, was so helpful and accommodating. Sophia was the star of the show. She welcomed my husband and I with open arms and made us feel like family! We are forever grateful for her sweet spirit and friendliness! The DJs were awesome! Loved the daily games and nightly entertainment. I am a vegetarian and expected to eat salad every day, but all of the restaurants were very accommodating with vegetarian options. I could go on and on, but bottom line is you won't be disappointed with Jewel Dunn's River Resort in Jamaica! 5 stars! We will return!

Great if you want a very small hotel where everything is 30 seconds from you. The staff was amazing. Every person made us feel at home and comfortable. Biggest negative for meI will say that it is one of the loudest resorts I've been to. We had an oceanfront room which overlooked the pool as well (and sadly a massive, unattractive ceiling of the bar and restaurants). Instead of a peaceful room, you can hear every D.J announcement, performance, and all evening activities. I am all for parties and a good time but this was all day long. The last night we heard all of the next door resorts parties/weddings as well and extremely loud music late into the evening. I wish that we had gotten a garden room at a lower rate. It may have been more relaxing.

This resort is very beautiful. The landscaping is very well maintained. Entertainment was good. Food was much better than I expected it to be. All the staff are very friendly and are willing to talk to you so you can get some insight on the Jamaican ways. The only thing I would have to complain about is the spa ladies. The spa ladies walked around the resort and would hassle everyone. We were approached by them at least 2 if not 3 times a day even if we were trying to nap or read a book on a beach chair they would still talk to us about the spa. We eventually booked a spot to get into the spa on our last day just so they would leave us alone and then canceled it a few hours before the appointment. Very annoying!!!!!!

Simple, Clean, & Fun
The pool was nice with a swim up bar and pretty waterfall. Lots of beach chairs to lay out in the sun. Bar service was fast and the rum drinks were good. The pool side entertainment was not that great.
The day time food options were good - included a burger and pizza. The food at night was good but limited to two sit down restaurants. Breakfast was basic buffet.
The entertainment at night was not good
Our room was big and clean. The bathroom was small, making it hard to close the door. The decor was dated but functional.response / report this review -

Fantastic location and incredible resort! Excellent food and super clean resort! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We came to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and we're treated like royalty. Room was beautiful. Make sure you visit the Jade Samurai for dinner! Great food and entertainment. Had a couples massage so relaxingmake sure you try the hot stones.

Crooks. Won't refund any money or offer another night. We paid for 4 nights. We only stayed 3 because our flights were cancelled because of weather. Airport closed down for the day. We were told we would receive a refund. Here was the response from the resort;
Good Morning Nathan,
We did contact the Hotel on your behalf and they did advise us they did charge a 1 Night penalty to us for the 1 day no-show. We would not be able to process a refund at this time.
