These people left us stranded at our hotel. We almost missed our flight. They are impossible to contact and we are still waiting for a refund. Customer service is only good when they want your money.

I met with a person in the lobby of RIU palace with a yellow shirt from JTL Jamaica tours. I booked an excursion and was told to be in the lobby the next day at a specific time for the bus. I was told to be sure not to be late as they would leave without me. I was there 20 minutes early. The bus never showed up. I waited a half an hour after the time. The hotel lobby personnel called the excursion company. They said they would meet me in the morning and to look for the lady in the yellow shirt. I asked if I needed anything in writing and was assured that it wasn't needed because the lady who was on the phone would be in the lobby in the morning. In the morning I went to the lady in the yellow shirt who asked how she could help me. I explained I was looking for a refund because I had been left standing in the lobby waiting for someone who never showed up. I expected she would be aware, offer an apology and give me the refund without issue. Instead, she asked who I bought from. I gave her my travel slip and explained I didn't know, and all of the information was on the slip/receipt. She asked how much I paid. I explained it's on the slip. She didn't like my attitude and refused to do anymore business with me. I had to involve the hotel manager and was told I would get a follow up. I didn't end up getting my refund until the following day. It was not a good experience and took up a lot more time of my vacation than it should have. Do not recommend this company.

JTL Tours has a lot to learn in customer service. If I could give no start I would. I've had the worst experience catching the bus back to the airport from Grand Bahia Pricipe Jamaica. The tour company JTL reps are sitting pretty far away from the main lobby where all of the action takes place. Our return bus was booked by JTL representative and she told us to wait in the main lobby at 8 am for our bus. We were there at 8 am sharp asking the bell boys and the front desk about our bus. No one knew what we were talking about and no one directed us to speak to anyone. Apparently the bus was waiting for us from 8:10 am to 8:20 am and then left without any announcements. The bus driver did go to the JTL rep who were sitting in another part of the hotel. The rep did not contact us by phone and did not look for us. We found out that the bus left when we went to speak to the rep at about 8:30 am asking where our bus was. She told us that the bus just left. We were shocked! She then told us that it was our fault we missed the bus and that the bus would not return back to pick us up. I was lividwe were a party of 8 with 5 kids among us. We were now at risk of missing our flight and the rep did not want to help us. She was giving us an attitude and did not make us feel at ease. I asked to speak to the manager at that point and she walked away saying she did not want to speak to me. Absolutely horrible experience. We did end up catching the 9:10 am bus to the airport and just made it to the airport in time for our flight. However that experience could have been avoided by the rep by being a lot more customer friendly.

When we arrived at Secrets Saint James, Beverly, (West Jet, Jamaica Tours) encouraged us to include an excursion in our vacation plan. Thank-you Beverly, our day trip, ‘The Black River Safari and YS Falls’, will be one of the highlights of our vacation.

Our tour hostess, ‘Darlene’ was fabulous! Her narrative of our bus transit across the Island was as entertaining as it was informative. Our driver, Steve, expertly navigated the winding, narrow roads through the hills that delivered us from Montevideo Bay to the south shore. The journey across the Island revealed a beautiful and rugged landscape. We travelled through a number of villages, in a number of parishes and got a glimpse of what life is like for the rural people of Jamaica.

Our first destination was the Black River Safari, a five mile journey up one of Jamaica’s longest rivers. Within minutes we were ‘face to face’ with an immense crocodile, one of the many that we would meet. Our captain and tour guide was excellent. He educated us in an entertaining way about the river’s history, it’s plants and birds and most amazingly it’s crocodiles. The wetlands were a visual feast teeming with wildlife. Our Black River Safari ended with a fine Jamaican Lunch.

Our second destination was the YS Falls. Wow! This place is magical! Upon arriving a tractor and trailer delivers you up to the base of the falls and these Falls truly are a visual feast. An expert guide assisted us through the various pools and cascades. He literally assisted us every step of the way. We swam in each of the pools and cascades and our guide captured every moment for us on our own camera. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time at YS Falls.

They'll do the job, but they're neither nice nor professional. They were delayed in leaving the airport and for our pickup from the hotel. The car was very small but decent enough to do the job. Their drivers are not professional, and have unsafe driving habits. They didn't show signs of welcoming; we didn't get even a smile from either one of the drivers. I tipped the driver on our way to the hotel but unfortunately I didn't have much cash at the moment. He wasn't pleased with the tip so he told me that this is not enough in front of everyone standing, so I gave him more. I find that disrespectful and unprofessional. On our way back the driver was approximately 30 mins late, and was very unsafe in his driving honking to everyone and cutting lanes left and right. I learned my lesson from the first guy so I tipped the second driver more not to hear it.

    Slow way to Negril
Had good reviews so we gave it a shot big older greyhound type bus which they try to fill landed 1030 bus left at noon 🕛 and bus driver “needed” a break so he conviently stopped at a friends roadside restaurant bar for 45 minutes. We didn’t get to our hotel till 3 why waste 4 hrs on vacation
    You can do much better
Just say thanks but no thanks
Ps when we kept asking when the bus left he always said 15 min But not till he filled it
    Don’t lie man

Booked through Expedia. Hired a personal driver to and from airport which arrived on time and was a pleasant experience. Also used them for an excursion to zip line. Did not like that part of my tour group went on a separate excursion which required us to wait for over an hour to be brought back to the hotel.

When you get a ride to your hotel, you expect to be taken to your hotel, not to various stops for the driver's buddies. Our bus only made one, but another of our friends had to make several stops and was pressured into buying something for them to move on. Our driver told us we would get there 15 minutes early becaise he was going to drive fast. I wish our resort would have used another more professional bus company.

If you want to be picked up 5 hours before your flight and to spend 4 hour at the airport - they are your guys. They are inflexible, rude and seem to care about their convenience way more than they care about their customers if at all. I wish I knew that before I booked. In all of my travels in Caribbeans, I never had such an unpleasant experience. Buyers beware.

The ride from and to the airport was on time and every professional. The issue we had was the representative at the hotel, Teodone, was very rude and short with myself and my sisters. When we expressed that we did not want to book an excursion, we only needed to verify our transportation to the airport on the day we was leaving, Teodone was very rude and told us to shut up and not cut him off. We walked away and had to call the main office to verify our transportation. Will try another company next time!!

Ride from the airport went smoothly with this company. Stayed in Ocho Rios- only downside is they will drop people off at different resorts along the way which adds time to the travel. No worries though. We booked 2 excursions with them- batanical gardens, Dunn’s falls, and shopping. The other dolphin cove. We were the only people on the first tour so I was a little bit put off. But it was the best! Our tour guide and bus driver were seriously some of the kindest people I have ever met. They even took us in town afterwards so we could buy local food before returning to our hotel. I had a blast. Best part? Unlike escursions in Mexico, they do not hassle or hint around for tips- so obviously we gave them a very generous tip simply because of that. Would recommend. Don’t be scared to venture out of your resort with this company.

I used this company for two things: airport transfers and the tour to Kingston. The transfers were fine. Pick up and drop off were timely and the driver was nice each time. However the trip to Kingston was a waste of time. I went along with 2 friends, we paid $100 pp. We participated in a group of 12. The tour guide and driver wetter amazing but the structure of the trip was pointless. We five around Kingston, sightseeing. Only to get off the bus at the garden of heroes (maybe that's not what it's called) which was not very much to see. Bob marley's museum was good. But if you go to nine mile you don't need to do the museum. After all, we wetter staying in Montego bay so Kingston is about a 3 Hour drive. Nine mile is only about an hour (in ocho rios). The trip culminated with a trip to the ice cream shop on some plantation land and a stop at usain bolts restaurant. The trip was okay before this stop. But the food was horrible and the service was even worse. Overall save your money I would have done better spending the day at the resort.

15 hour day. Do not use this company. Our driver and tour guide couldn’t have been better but the company double booked us. Hoping this post keeps that from happening going forward.

We signed up for a tour of Dunn’s river falls, lunch, and shopping. We were to leave at 7am and return around 3pm.

The van picked us up at 645am.

We then picked up a group of 5 people who we learned were signed up for the Dunn’s tour, in addition to an afternoon tour at mystic mountain.

When we learned this we asked our tour guide if we could arrange separate transportation back from our tour, as it was obvious the afternoon tour would not line up well with our plans.

The tour guide called her supervisor and those in charge did not give us a realistic alternative and it was clear we were at the mercy of the afternoon groups time schedule.

We concluded our portion of the tour in the afternoon, and waited over an hour and a half for the other group to finish. We did not arrive back to our hotel until 930pm. A full 6.5 hours longer than expected, a majority of that time spent waiting in a van/parking lot for the other group.

Awful experience. If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I’d like half of a vacation day back please.

We were in Jamaica October 29th through November 4th my wife and I were celebrating our 5th anniversary and we had a friend that tagged along and we had booked tours all week and got to see Jamaica outside of the resort and from television all I have to say is that the men and women guides that we had on our tours were excellent ,great knowledge and full of information to inform us of their culture and things about the island and things that most of us would never know without doing a lot of research and even then we would still probably not know exactly for sure what things consistented of or what goes on on islands and things like that but I do have to say we had a wonderful time we had no problems with any of our tours but we do have to get a shout out to one of our guides Lady D, if you do get her she is wonderful she's awesome she makes the tour very interesting if you do see her on your tours in Jamaica just let her know the 2 truck drivers from Omaha Nebraska say hello and treat her well she's awesome she will go out of her way to do anything that she can to make your tour more memorable or just to try out something a food a drink or whatever it is as long as it is on route if she can make it happen she will make it happen.

    Thanks from the Barnhouse family.

Horrible would never reccomend. We had our catamaran cut short by 2 hours out of a 5 hour trip didn't get to take boat back and were rushed to get into our transport back to hotel at margaritaville. Then to make it worse we didn't receive our refund that we're supposed to get. Best bet book through someone else if you want a good time.

My trip to Jamaica this summer was quiet an experience for the family. This time we were introduce to more exciting things by our phenomenal driver Errol who showed us around Jamaica, like the rafting at White river, and horse back riding which was new to us. We had a blast at Jamaica, wish the trip was longer. Errol know the island so well that he could give you great information as he takes you along. Looking forward for next year. Big up Errol!

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. We booked 3 excursions through travelocity and wanted to cancel one of them within the cancellation period. They did not respond to our emails or phone calls. Our resort tried to contact Jamaica Tours Ltd and still no response. Travelocity tried to contact them, and once again no response! And now they wont give us our money back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! If you want to do any type of tours or excursions in Jamaica I highly recommend Island Routes instead!

I will say the transportation from the airport to our resort great no complaints.
But, I had one of the most unprofessional experiences with JAMAICA TOURS LIMITED workers in Jamaica stationed at the RIU PALACE. (Teddance Williams) to be exact. He was unprofessional and rude. I came to confirm my return travels to the airport. He in return says to me, “that I need to book my return transportation back to the airport with the young lady who I book my excursion with.” After he preceded to be rude. So he was upset because I went to a random lady station to look at tours and booked with her and not him. As a paying customer, I'm not obligated to spend my money where you JTL think I need to spend it. But in any case they won't have to worry about it again. I'll never be a patron of this company in the future.

I purchased two roundtrip tickets for transportation from the airport to our resort a week before traveling. The arrival was fine. (6/3) The departure was scary. The driver arrived at our resort (Sunset of the Palms) 45 minutes late. Our pickup was 10:30 and told us that 6 folks missed their 9:30 pickup to the airport and that they had to arrange another driver to pick us up because there was no room on the bus. Well, that did not sit well with me because I could have enjoyed the resort an hour more plus no apology was given no communication from JT, I called them twice.. The new driver finally arrived (11:45)and drove like a bat out of hell to get us to the airport for our flight. Thank GOD we made it. I will never used Jamaica Tours service again.

I purchased advance shuttle bus tickets online for my son and his wife for their honeymoon trip May 22-26, 2017 in Jamaica. They were taken by Jamaica Tours Limited from the airport to their resort on the day of their arrival. However, they had a very bad experience immediately upon arriving at their resort and purchased airline tickets to come home the very next day. The tickets were purchased late Monday night, so we did not have the ability to call Jamaica Tours Limited that night. The next day, my son and his wife packed up and went to the resort front desk and attempted to obtain help in contacting Jamaica Tours Limited. They received no help and were told that the shuttle buses did not travel to the resorts unless they were scheduled to do so in advance. Since the tickets I purchased were for a few days later, they could not get to the airport and missed their plane home. I will never use this or any other tour bus service as this trip and the transportation issues experienced were unacceptable.

I recently used this company for my airport transfers and all my tours while I visited Montego Bay last week and I am so impressed with everything. When we landed in Montego Bay we had only booked the bus to take us to our hotel, yet we were greeted and ushered into our own town car. This was amazing because with the buses you stop off at various hotels along the way and have to wait for everyone else at the airport.

The rep of JTL at our hotel, Burnadette, was lovely. She made sure we had everything we needed and was always warm, welcoming and friendly.

We booked 3 tours during our week stay - Dunn's River Falls & Bob Marley's Childhood home, Luminous Lagoon and Negril & Rick's Cafe. Every tour bus was clean. The drivers and the guides were awesome and funny. I enjoyed every moment even when we sat a little bit of Jamaican rush hour traffic.

I highly recommend using this company if you are visiting Montego Bay. Just remember to bring cash so you can tip your driver, tour guides and anyone else you see along the way - Yeah Mon!!
