International Work and Travel Services (IWTS) is Work and Travel/Cultural Exchange Programme that aims to send fulltime college students to work and travel in the United States of America, for up to four (4) months legally. IWTS also recruits recent hospitality graduates, persons with a hospitality certification with one year work related experience and those individuals who have been working for at least five years in the hospitality field (regardless of the existence of any qualifications).

IWTS 's long term goal is to be the Programme of Choice among all clients and potential clients.

IWTS will not settle for MEDIOCRE and we urge you to imitate such attitude. Our staff is dedicated to give you quality, effective, efficient and worthwhile service on a daily basis.

  Universities across Jamaica should move towards having an academic year between September 8 to May 4 of each year.

  Reasons: 1. This will allow many more students to take advantage of the Cultural Exchange Programme. 2. The programme creates international exposure for every student.... 3. Students reap great benefit by getting international work experience. 4. They learn the USA culture and are able to develop their own opinion. 5. Many past participants develop a business as a result of the international exposure that got during the programme. 6. The students will be able to use their summer employer as a reference when they are conducting any type of business, locally or international. 7. Students will be expanding their network internationally. 8. The average student makes at least the money it cost them to participate in the programme. 9. Students normally develop the level of maturity. 10. Students will make friends with many students, in various professional field, from across the world.

  The dates allocated to Jamaican students by the US Embassy are: May 5 to September 7 of each year. Students are able to work in seasonal jobs across the USA. They also have 30 days (Grace Period) that they can use to visit friends and families across the USA.
