We visited this establishment a day after we had been to the wonderful Doctor cave beach club and let me tell you the service at Hard rock paled in comparison with doctor cave, from the very poorly trained servers to the flat out banal beach itself. There is that one thick male attendant who got our umbrellas and chairs and who inquired about whether we wanted to see the menu initially. When the time came for us to Order we just COULD NOT get any one to place our order. So we reached out to the thick male attendant and he was LESS THAN ACCOMMODATING, while all of this was going on all we could think about was going back to Doctor’s cave beach. The guy said he would signal one of the servers for us (SHE TOOK HER OWN TIME GETTING To us ) by the time the server decided to grace us with her “royal” presence I was over that place. My sister did order only because we had a toddler with us. I believe my facial expression was enough to let her know how poor and sub par their overall service was. I guess it’s company policy to “Over attend to One party and Neglect the other or others” very terrible service. For potentially new customers I Strongly RECOMMEND Doctor’s cave save yourself the trouble. especially if you are a local I definitely advise against you visiting this place, the difference in service WILL VARY IMMENSELY.

I have been to the establishment on three occasions and on two occasions a short thick guy served us, we were with white clients from work, the service was friendly and everything was great.

However I took my spouse last night and the experience was unfavorable. We ordered and mines was messed up, my partner had a slight misunderstanding of the sandwich he ordered. Telling the waiter you could see she had a small attitude. "Well I will get the manager to sort that out".

The manager came after a little wait and was nice enough to change our meals. She was the only highlight of the experience.

The server never came back to check on us, we ordered a drink and she didn't take it, we had to leave our food,go by the bar only to be told everything is closed off. We saw the manager at the bar and went back to the same girl at the bar, all of a sudden she could now make the drink because the manager was standing beside her.

No one came to ask if we were ready for the bill. We had to beckon to her the original waitress for her to come back to the table with the bill. Also to add insult to injury,since eating the food we have been sick all night into today.

I feel the service would have been better if we were a different color, it's sad how we treat our own. She needs some customer service training, not worth a return or recommendation.

Great food. Awesome and friendly service. They hadn't ever heard of a drink my father ordered so they took the time to learn how to make it. Servers acted as though we had known them for years and were best friends. Highly reccomend Hard Rock Cafe Montego Bay!

This is the best spot to go to in Montego Bay. The staff is super friendly, helpful and professional not just to tourists but locals as well! I’ve been to this franchise in Florida and I think the crisp blue beach sets this one way above the rest. The price is mid to high but absolutely worth the atmosphere, customer service and delicious food. Best money I’ve spent anywhere in years. I loved it here so much I went back the following day.

Hard Rock Cafe Montego Bay was one of the best franchise locations I have visited. It has a very nice tropical escape with breathtaking views, awesome local dishes and some of the biggest & juiciest burgers I’ve had. It is not the cheapest as it’s prices are mid range to high end but it is actually worth it. It’s family friendly with an awesome pool and a great beach. You can end your day with a nice romantic sunset by the beach with some great drink mixes. I highly recommend visiting this cafe.

The customer service is very good smiles everywhere. I also like that the wait time for our food was short and the food portions were big. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, especially the apple cobbler dessert. Finally, the setting is diverse with calming aesthetics as well. On the pricy side but worth it.

Great food, great staff, great service and great location. They've got an outdoor pool, access to a beach, outdoor patio, tv's to watch sports and a friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Service lacks, how can you have more employees than there are customers and still be ignored ??
Food is so so, and priced WAY TOO HIGH ! Save your money, the pricing is same as if you were in the states, ridiculous.

A good spot for a meet and greet with friends. Provides indoor and outdoor dining and beach and pool amenities for daytime activities. The menu is more of an American diner vibes but with different specials on menu items and beers it is reasonable enough for most pockets.

Great place to hang and the food is awesome. Plus you can earn rewards if you're apart of their reward program. The restaurant has a great ambience with awesome music. Makes you feel like a rock star. There is also live entertainment on some nights. Opens until midnight

Excellent location, views are breath taking. Up market area, security excellent. Service was the only let down, management fail to teach and support staff to serve to high standard. Management appear to lack the understanding of providing a thorough induction and required processes that support an exceptional experience and dinning.
Once seated staff did not return for 20 minutes. Food ordered was not what was received. Errors corrected but impacted on dinning experience. Oxtail was under cooked and meat was difficult to part from the bone. Oxtail needed pressure cooking a further 20 minutes to allow seasoning to penetrate the bone and make the meat succulent. Rice was excellent. Cocktail was good. I would recommend to experience but the management need to learn or to use their management knowledge and implement continuity through the team and quality systems that nurture repeat and continued customers.
My profession is supporting organisations to improve management within organisations. It holds true that 90% of all problems in an organisation can only be fixed by management. Poor leadership kills business.

We had identified this place prior to leaving on our cruise. We docked, then walked from the cruise excursion dock to this place. For the most part we had sidewalk to walk on once we got past the excursion dock area. Took us 15 minutes to walk there. Should of taken pictures of the cafe, but was captivated by the nice beach area it is located next to. The reason we came here was to get WIFI access at a cafe that would be considered safe. What we found a really nice cafe that the rest of the cruise travelers didn't know about. The pool is free for guest to swim in. Access to the beach area requires you to pay. But the cafe owns the deck , the tables and chairs. So why pay for the beach unless your dying to swim in salt water and have sand on your clothes.
