It's Great
May take awhile to get tru But u will. Very nice doctors
A crowd was there but we got through easily. The nurses and doctors we pleasant and professional.
Great service and the most helpful and accommodating.
Relative smooth pick up of prescription in afternoon
Jamaica on a whole is known for poor customer service But I am still in awe at the level of unprofessionalism and ignorance displayed by some members of staff at this health facility.
For me personally, I don't use these facilities.. But this time, I didn't have a choice.. N when I saw the service that "good good me" was given my heart pains for my fellow brothers and sisters who MUST use these facilities. It's hard to believe that these are train, educated people. I would not recommend this place to anyone At all.. But I know that some of us can't do better
I need a job there.
Greater Portmore health clinic they don't know how to deal with ppl professionally, especially some of the nurses they have no respect and manners, and if they don't want the job then they need to leave it or look another field. I personally think that whoever is in charge of that place they need to get other certified nurses who wants to be in the health care field and get rid of the onese who don't want the job.
Great experience
I attended this clinic every four months and i find it to be ok the wait is long but there are some very nice doctors there to take care of you
Today was my first time attempting to see a medical professional here. I was referred from a private doctor to deal with mental health issues. Weeks prior I checked with staff when the psychiatrist was in and was informed first, second, and third Mondays. Given when I got the referral, 3 weeks later is when I was able to come in.
When I entered the mental health area, I spoke to a man that was sitting in the corridor at a desk. He proceeded to read my referral making a face of disdain at something - he proceeds to ask how long since I got this referral. Without waiting for a response he grunts and says "I'm going to give you a date to come back because obviously nothing is wrong"
Unbelievable. Other staff I spoke to were polite and informed me that the doctor wasn't even in but even within a place that's supposed to help me, there are people who are trying to diminish the seriousness of my health. I have been on medication and therefore functioning better but after this I am seriously considering to take my services elsewhere and never set foot in there again.
I have been a member and received care for both my kids and myself. Good service and kind friendly nurses.
Very poor service, very bad customer service, very little efficiency from both doctors and nurses in being attended to and treated. This is just a small representation of the underfunded, under-resourced and dilapidated public health care system that has Jamaica has all thanks to that country's inept and corrupt government.
Private healthcare, on the other hand, in Jamaica is much better funded, efficient, properly resourced and both doctors and medical staff are more professional in their behaviour and duties.
Service is poor you wait the whole day to get seen by a doctor
I was going to put no star there, but that's the minimum so Today was my first time there. The nurse who was supposed to conduct the immunization process was acting very disrespectful and lackadaisical; she claimed that I was not her responsibility because I am 17, as well as, to tell me that my card was an issue. Then she behaved extremely distasteful towards me and proclaimed my business for the whole line of waiting patients to hear! They should have informed me at the registration desk about the immunization process when I asked. I gave the clerk my card and she then told me to go through the pathway to the crowd of people. THERE WAS NO ISSUE, I then waited for about three hours until my name was called, and as I am ready to go through with the immunization, there was an issue with my card and the dates. I should have been informed before hand about this process. And to make matters even worse, I called two weeks prior to this appointment, and I was only told to bring the immunization card, and then to be told there's an issue.
Now as the decent person I am, I walked away with no response; head held high. I saved everything for this review. After this, three days later, I went to the clinic in Christian Pen, they were friendly and the ambiance of the environment was warm.
