Great experience thus far!! Received a facial from the spa which left my face feeling like a baby's bottom. This is my first time at Grand Pineapple (2nd time in Jamaica) and the hotel set up was something different. I would prefer lodging on the beachfront sideso I would have to keep crossing the street.

Used to be Negril Gardens. We started coming here 25 years ago, and we will
continue. The new name and owners are a welcome and positive change. Pina coladas and beach bar cocktails are super. Staff is very very friendly.

I have been to Negril 3 times and I love the place. My first trip I stayed at Kuyaba. The food was good, but grand pineapple makes you feel like family. Just got back from 7 days, from my second time at Grand Pineapple. The staff is amazing! Deron checked on us daily. The new manager Daniela is very personable and doing great things! A couple improvements that I would like to see are: new mattresses in room 51. Daniela wants designated smoking areas, which is fine, but they need ashtrays! Too many people dropping cigarette butts on the beach. Saw twice as many as I saw in 2016. More garbage cans.
Other than that the place is perfect! I will return! A piece of my heart will always be there! 💗💗💗

Great experience! Loved the food selection. I was not on the beach side but there were always crossing guards on both sides of the road to stop traffic. Marvette seemed to be top bartender, always upbeat and smiling, very efficient and amazing at remembering names and what they were drinking. Santana was also an excellent bartender and I was amazed to find out she had only been there a few weeks as part of her bartender college training.. I hope Grand Pineapple keeps her. This Resort is in my favorite part of Negril, near all night life and Time Square. Negril Beach is the best beach I have ever vacationed on which I have more than 20 times. Can't wait to go back!!

I loved my stay at Grand Pineapple. Waiting to get some time off to visit again. The beach is lovely and water is crystal clear. A small hotel but I plan to go back as soon as I have the time.

Me and my wife were there for 5 nights at the begining of December.
I could say we were neiter impressed or dissapointed, in our opinion they still have a few things to iron out.
Don’t go there if you have high expectations in terms of acomodation.

I have been apart of the Sandals family for the past 3 year now and this year I decided to take my disabled son, my teenage son, and in-laws so when I started looking into our options through my sandals select membership page beaches and the grand pineapple popped up as option for children. I know beaches had more activities for kids, but with my son's disability I thought with the grand pineapple being smaller in size it would be a better fit. It represented in self very simular to sandals on their website, but this was far from the truth. The rooms need some attention, every day the bar was out of something, their activity desk didn't even have snorkel, and during our week their we got pesticide sprayed in our room 3 times during the night. The window dont seal so as they spayed all of the fumes come into the room and suffocate us. This was very disturbing to me that my family and I had to breath the fumes. When we complained we where ignored. After our vacation I wrote them about our concerns and I'm still being ignored. I spend a lot of my hard earned money every year to go on vacation with Sandals and this trip was so disappointing.

If your on a budget, and want a large crowd this will be a great place to stay. It's close to things you would like within walking distance.

Clean, bright, lovely resort. Food is good, good options. I do wish they had umbrellas hugs hang out in the shade trees. Drinks are a little watered down but since it's all inclusive you drink a few more! Kind of quiet, should have more music during the day. Room is comfortable, bathroom is the only part of the room that is a little out dated but it is clean. Patio is nice size. Excellent spot on the beach. Nice size resort, not to big. Beach towels, ping pong, nice clean dinning room with service. Returning for Easter!

The place is beautiful. It looks like a love child between the rainbow and the sun. The food was very good and plenty of liquor to keep you hydrated. The grill however operated very slowly while mixing up orders but the staff was gracious about their errors.

I'm on visit #5 and generally rate the resort 3 to 4 due to location and the nice and friendly staff. Unfortunately, I am downgrading my rating this trip due to poor customer service. I reported a drainage problem with tub the 2nd morning and there has been no repair and no followup.

The resort is small and family like. One of the constant attractions has been the night entertainment by the Reggae band. For some reason, Sandals and/or the Grand Pineapple management staff decided to not have a band due to low occupancy. The occupancy rate on my last trips were similar. The band which is part of their promotion and is a feature that makes this resort so endearing. The band brings a little night life and fun for patrons. Without them, the resort is disappointingly dead.

Just an FYI about "7-mile beach", it has biting flies in the sand that you cannot see or feel. If you attract mosquitos, you will likely attract the sand flies and be bitten. The bites are very itchy. Spray helps to repel them but will not keep you bite-free.

We loved staying here. Jacquelyn, Marvette, Charlene, and many of the other staff were super friendly and made sure we were taken of. If you're looking for a smaller, quiet, all inclusive resort, this is your place. Beautiful beach.

Overall great experience and would readily do it all over again. The entire staff were genuinely warm, welcoming and always helpful. The location was perfect. Negril’s “7-mile” beach is pristine with white sand and no weeds or debris in the water. This part of Jamaica is on the west (leeward) side of the island so the water is always relatively calm and the sunsets are unobstructed and picturesque. The dining area and bar are pavilions – roof, no walls - located at the edge of the beach. The bartenders are attentive and have a few cocktail surprises up their sleeves for you. Meals are buffet style and cater to varied palates from bland potatoes to mildly spicy local dishes – hot sauces are available on the side. Rooms are clean and air-conditioned. For a more tropical experience, room windows can fully open for sea breezes and there’s a ceiling fan. Where this resort is dropping the ball is charging their guests extra for WiFi and charging their guests for making even local calls --- two low-value items that tainted an otherwise perfect vacation experience.

I stayed at this resort last July and was truly disappointed. The rooms were atrocious. My first room had no pillowcases on the pillows which were stained beyond belief, lipstick on the bed cover, the tub was rusted with a horific sewage smell. I've been in better gas station bathrooms. I was moved to another room, which was no better, but the linen was clean this time. I was scared to use the lamp in this room, because the cord was in knotts though it was plugged in, and you would hear a hissing sound when you turned it on. All inclusive meals, I beg to differ. You only had 3 meals, at set times and if you wanted a snack in between, you were on your own. Most of the staff was friendly, but that's not enough for me to go back or recommend to anyone. The beach was beautiful, but that has nothing to do with the resort. I wish I could post the real pictures, because what you see on the site is not accurate at all.

Not family friendly! The reviews & pics for the resort aren't up to date & don't depict current features. The inside of the rooms need MAJOR updates. The staff was rude & insulting. All inclusive means time limits on eating/drinking @ the 1 restaurant & 1 bar. Plus, bring plenty of tip $$ to get serviced/noticed.
