We recently had the pleasure of hosting our family reunion at Golden Clouds. There were 24 of us and we arrived from four different countries (Italy, U.K., Canada and U.S.). I had not been to Jamaica before and while we have stayed at beautiful villas in Italy, Golden Clouds was like nothing we had ever experienced before. The grounds are magnificent and the view of the sea is breathtaking. For such a large group, we had plenty of room for socializing and for solitude. It has its own private beach as well as lovely pools and gardens. The meals and service were splendid. Ms. Blossom is a wonderful chef and the butler (David) treated us like royalty. It was the vacation of a lifetime.

My family just got back from a week at Golden Clouds near Ocho Rios Jamaica. What a wonderful, relaxing and luxurious way to vacation. We have previously stayed in hotels in the Ocho Rios area - both all-inclusive and not - and far prefer this. It is so wonderful to have a "home" to stay at vs. a hotel room. Especially with small children, it is much more enjoyable for all. The grounds are beautiful, the setting is spectacular, the staff are incredibly professional and accommodating and left us wanting for nothing.
The meals were far better than anything we had experienced at hotels, plus having eaten at all the upscale restaurants in the Ocho Rios area, knew we could not do better than the delectable fare that our chef cooked up for us. Each night the butler set the table and served us dinner, the tables were done beautifully. My three sons - 8, 6 and 3 - had a great time in the pool and enjoyed themselves immensely on the beach. They also enjoyed the special meals that the chef was kind enough to prepare for them as they are a bit picky - while we feasted on some of the best meals we’ve ever had, anywhere.
The tennis court, basketball, kayaking and shuffleboard were very popular with our group – and the ping-pong table got a good workout as well.
I highly recommend Golden Clouds, and cannot say enough about the staff. They are the BEST!report this review
