I found the lay out of the restaurant not to my liking but my problem was the several workers carrying supplies through the area customers sat eating. The food took forever and it was evident that we were forgotten until we asked the waiter what happened to our food. We waited easily in excess of 45 minutes after we ordered. Also the food did not taste good. I've had Japanese food before and the food never ready. I had to force to finish mine and my wife didn't finish her's and didn't take it home with is either. Very forgettable and definitely not worth a second visit. Gave 2 stars only cause the food was hot

My favorite food of all time, and I am not a "foodie". And everytime I go back it taste just as great. You can choose to dine in the courtyard under the sun or moon or inside at the food preparation station and watch as they craft your meal or in a lovely private seating area anyone is just as good. The bill can get high as you will we eating to your hearts content.

Ambiance was excellent. Meal prepared to perfection. First time at Eastern Japanese and loved every minute of it.
