Really crowded on a public holiday, but I still managed to enjoy myself. Food portion was small for the price you pay but the food is great. The smokers should just have a beach for themselves because they made it very uncomfortable for me and my family. They just smoke anywhere with no consideration of the family next to them even when there are children present. Come on, do better than that. Parking is horrible. Come early or just dont go at all. Overall, the place is beautiful. Vibrant. Water is clear and awesome.

By far one of the best beaches on the island. I used to live a few mins away from this beach and used to go here every weekend. Clear blue waters, trampolines and a club house for members which includes saunas, steam rooms, showers, a gymnasium and billiards. Also has a few restaurants and bars.

I must say it’s absolutely a great place to go. The environment and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I must also commend them as for I left a beach chair there from December 19,2017 because it wasn’t allowed inside, I live in a different parish, I called and asked for them to keep it safe for me and it was just two weeks ago I got someone to collect for me. Real good customer service. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

Beach is very clean and water is very clear. It is so pretty there. You can walk on the sand with no problem. However to get food and drinks there is a bit expensive.

My family and I took our first cruise and one of our stops was Montego Bay, Jamaica. The majority of our party wanted to go to the beach. We had heard that a lot of the public beaches weren’t very clean and could get a little congested. So we heard about a “pay to enter beach”. So we took a taxi to Doctor’s Cove Beach. The price was six USD per person. Which wasn’t that bad considering it was very clean and it had white sands. And the water was so clear you could see all the way to the bottom from at least ten feet down. It could have been more though. Just crystal clear and awesome fish. On top of the “entry fee”, if you wanted a chair or any other amenities, you had to rent them. What I liked though was that the beaches access was behind a gate. What was bad though was on the other side of the gate coming in. People begging for money, people telling you to pay for a picture with them, people trying to sell you joints. But the beach itself was really nice. Would like to visit again or maybe other private beaches on the island.

Love this beach.. nice change from the resorts. Beware this is not a free beach, and it gets super busy when the cruise ships dock.

Great beach. Wi-Fi if you need but really just enjoy the waters. Great facilities to wash off. Great food at the sand bar. A must stop while you are in montego bay

Doctor's Cave Beach seems like a typical beach. I went a few days ago, and at that time, it was $6 for adults to access the beach. 12 years and older is considered to be an adult. They do serve over priced food and drinks (both alcoholic and non), because you can't bring in your own snacks. There were at least 2 life guards on duty. The one that I was near had snorkel gear, and life vests for rent. He did mention it to people as they where walking by him. There's a large floating trampoline for people to jump off of a little ways out.

Outside the gates, before you walk in, there are locals asking you if you want your hair breaded. I don't know how much they charge, but the quality work was very nice.

There are plenty of cabs outside the beach on Bottom Rd.

Beach is clean. You have to pay to get in (about $7 I think). You can't play around with a ball or Frisbee. Very busy. You have to pay for chairs and umbrellas. There are 2 other free beaches South of Doctor's Cave Beach although they arent very clean beaches.

Beautiful water and a nice beach. We did some snorkeling from the beach, several reefs are accessible from the beach. We saw plenty of sea life while visiting. The beach service was great and the locals trying to sale stuff were not pushy if you said "no". Plenty of taxis waiting at the beach to take us back to Port.

Great view and excellent water. Service is a little slow but drinks are reasonably priced and they'll bring them to you on the shore as well.

By far my favorite beach in Montego Bay. The ambiance is wonderful. You can swim, go out to the trampoline, order food and drinks, or just lay out and enjoy the view. We went to other beaches but I always came back to Doctor's Cave.

You can say the only beach to go to it is very beautiful but it's a private beach you have to pay to go in $5 but it is definitely worth.

Great clean beach with facilities (restrooms, changing rooms, showers, a restaurant). There is no external hustling on the beach, but the hustling is done by the restaurant staff (every 5 min. they will ask if you need a drink).
