Pure vintage. Has just gotten a new roof top. The whole place/house feels like you would be visiting the 18th centurywell maintained.

$3,500JA for a room with bathroom, small tv, Wi-Fi, and fan. One of the best deals we got. The house is beautiful with a historic feel. The rooms are sparse otherwise. Wonderful staff. Thank you Chad!

This 135 year old heritage Lodge hotel is for the traveler seeking old world charm and a visit into the past. It's rooms have grace the presence of Queen Elizabeth and her mom Queen Victoria and most of the Prime Minister's of Jamaica. The photo's on the walls throughout the hotel, relive and showcase it's early years of glory. The front faces a view of the Port Antonio harbour. Absolutely beautiful. The architecture is awesome and inspiring. There is a Tiki Bar on the main floor area. It's charm alone and untouched amenities resurrect an era and period in history alone, that makes the stay worthwhile. The shopping area of this town is a ten minute at most walk. The absolutely awesome Errol Flynn Marina and beach is a must. Beautiful vegetation manicured by creation. I will return.

It's more like a motel rather than a hotel it has no air conditioner it's rooms are claustrophobic and they are so immature lol there was Hello Kitty sheets on the bed with a broken down black and white TV Wouldnt recommend it to anyone unless you just straight cheap Would never go back there 😂

We had a really nice stay at DeMontevin Hotel. As a frequent traveler to Jamaica, I didn't let some other's negative reviews scare me off. This is by no means a Ritz Carlton, and if you're looking for a luxury vacation experience, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for some old Jamaican charm and a comfortable place to lay your head, you should definitely check it out. We were doing a little road trip around the Jamaica coast, and stayed here for one night. The price and location were ideal and there was nothing we went without. Our room even had a great balcony overlooking the bay and they had wifi access! We had a room with a private bathroom, but a friend of ours didn't and found the shared bathroom to be fine as well. Contrary to previous reviews, it seems that they are now accepting credit cards. It's also really near the Blue Lagoon and Noel Coward's villa, Fireflytwo great attractions on that side of the island! Big thanks to Caren and George for making us feel at home!
