I booked this place as a last minute change to our holiday and am extremly pleased I did.
We were in apartment 23 - it was spacious, comfortable and contained everything we neededwell missing a can opener but that didn't matter.
Shower was surprisingly good - the ONLY complaint I have on the room is that the cooker wasn't working properly - 2 plates not working and it shocked me when touching it so was told to wear shoes when cooking.
The location is absolutely amazing! we had our own private beach - small but big enough for us, rocks separated the main sea from our little area but you can go over the rocks to swim in the sea and go further out. Wear shoes in the water as there are rocks!
The staff were very helpful, they cleaned the room every day - were very friendly and bent over backwards to make our stay pleasurablethey recommended good places to shop and visit.
They arranged a taxi for us but some were more expensive than most, in fact, they were more expensive than hailing one on the road but if you do that make sure it has a red numberplate and ask for a price up front. We found one that we hailed VERY cheap and he gave us his number so we stuck to using him.
So back to the hotel.located just outside Ocho Rios town (a hour brisk walk but worth it as you see so much) the location is quiet and very nice with lots of attractions very close byif you don't mind walking I'd recommend you do so. Reggae Beach (now Bamboo Beach) is in walking distance - 10 minutes and was a wonderful day out - had to pay $10 but worthi it.
Oh yes - I tool Jamaican Dollar but most asked for US $they take Jamaican but I struggled to work out what I was spending with 3 different currencies.
There is a supermarket over the road as well as a bar.Glenns Diner is also over the road - we had breakfast there every morning and some meals - they do room service as well if you don't want to cook.
We met a few other apartment owners while we were there and they were all very friendly.
The pool was very clean and warm.
It is a very picturesque placeno gym or tennis courts etc. but we didn't want them.
We were extremly please with our stay at Chrisanns and I would definately stay there every time I go back to Ocho.
It was definately very good value for money.please check when booking that you are informed there is a $10 per night tax chargeI got caught out with this and was shocked at an additional £100 on my bill - not the fault of the hotel

Chrissans is a wonderful, peaceful and simply nice place to enjoy one's vacation or just a mere time away to unwind. My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay there. Our room #25 was just right for us, I felt right at home as i was able to cook with a full size refrigerator on hand. Relaxing by the ocean was just awesome as we watched the waves crash against the rocks with our feet hanging in the water.

Ms Brown was very helpful and accommodating. I still remember vividly our experience after 2 years. We certainly would return and I believe we will soon.

This property is a very nice one and location is great, however its a bit run down and the staff has no training in customer service. my experience was poor. i was given a room that the dust in there almost send us to the hospital and we had to request a new room which was done and on till now now one as apologize. we were treated as if we were begging a stay or maybe because we were locals. No way to treat guest

Discreet. Room was clean, adequately furnished. Beach and pool was main feature as the surrounding gave a sense of quiet peacefulness.

The hotel was located in an area with no beach. It only had a small access to the sea, but it was not clean or and it didn't seem safe to enter. They have a pool and the rooms have its windows faced this pool, which could be noisy. The hotel was kind of old, with old furniture. The shower was nice, as well as the bed. It has a kitchen so we could cook some kind of breakfast, since the hotel doesn't offer it. The good part is that the hotel is located next to the main attraction of the area, like parks and waterfalls, which makes it easier and cheaper to access. The hotel doesn't offer a restaurant, you have to cross the street to get to another hotel who has a restaurant serving from breakfast to dinner, with reasonable prices.

I been to Chrisanns 2 times its nice and quite but the Rooms need to be Upgraded at lease the whole place needed to be upgraded especially the Lobby and the Resort need a Bar I like the Security there and the private beach The place jus need to improve needs RenovationBadly Furniture's need to change but overall it's a very nice quite and peaceful hotel

I absolutely loved my stay here in Apartment 19. The rooms were adorable, the little private beach was breathtaking and it was near all the tourist attractions wanted to see.

The apartment was decorated with bright colors and has a little kitchen equipped for cooking if you would like. There is a restaurant and grocery store across the street for convenience.

The grounds were kept very clean, including the rooms, the pool, beach etc.

We had perfect wifi reception in our room which made my son very happy.

I loved being on the ground level and being able to walk in and out the back sliding door to the pool and beach. You cant do that on the upper floors. It really felt like we had our own pool, just sitting outside our back door in lounge chairs.

Theres a cute little gazebo overlooking the water and rocks which I also enjoyed sitting at and drinking my morning coffee.

My favorite part was the view as you walk towards the beach, it is just perfect, people should get married here!

All in all I cant wait go back for another visit, I will definitely be staying here and in this apartment.

Inexpensive and clean but dated. There's also no wi-fi in each room so you'll have to go out to the common area to get service. It's such a great and secure location, I wish they would upgrade the rooms. There's no reason the rooms should look dingy and sometimes dirty even after being cleaned.
