Never again. Poor food. Spoiled meat. Rodent infestation. Waste of money. 1 star given for the ambiance, comfortable. But that's it. Nothing else.
WOW. Nice little place. Elegant, cozy and comfortable. Service was a bit on the slow side. We sat for too long and actually had to go get our server. After that things got better. Service was good, pleasant and with an infectious smile. Food was great. Price was as expected for a place of elegance; manageable and we'll worth it. I'll be going back.
Nice ambiance, food was very tasty. Our party of 4 all ordered different dishes and we were all impressed. The staff was very niceour server Marsha was the best! They showed us that there are still places in Jamaica who take customer service seriously.
I went to Cellar 8 with a friend and was immediately greeted by their friendly staff who remained attentive throughout the night. The decor is on point. The main course was well done and the flavours came together really well. The only disappointing thing was dessert. I had the chocolate cake and my friend had cheese cake. Both were of poor quality. Despite that, I had a really good night. I will definitely go again.
So it was my wife's birthday a few days ago and I took her to #Cellar8 for dinner, IT WAS GREAT!! A few friends joined us and we were all gushing about how great everything was. The food, the ambiance and Marsha our waitress was a delight. Needless to say I scored major points for picking the restaurant. Thanks "a good time was had by all"
Loved the ambience friendly staff Knowledgeable about their menu and wine options. It is kinda pricey Definitely worth it! It's very intimate and great for dates Large(4-5) groups are better upstairs or outside But not the best place for "roudy " loud groups because the place is small.
Great food, great wine, quaint atmosphere. Prices weren't too bad considering. Would go back and would definitely recommend to others. A little small and that can mean a small table by a window at times but has only happened once. Good menu selections as well as a myriad of wines that will fit all palettes.
Okay so it was my best friends birthday she wanted to come to this restaurant so i called and made reservation, i asked if there were any rules the person I spoke to said no (cannot remember her name ), night of the dinner is here get to the restaurant with the number balloon and the hostess says "that's not allowed based on the restaurant rules" So people when I hear that I was shocked and upset all at once because I did indeed call and ask if there are any rules anyways I got rid of the balloons sat done and decided to talk to the floor manager 'Shanique' when this girl came to the table she was not polite at all she was a monster telling me that when my friend
(The birthday girl) showed up we can't say surprise because other diners would be interrupted and this is a 'Class A' restaurant 😞😡😠😲 i was ready to leave at that point because that was very disgusting and disrespectful. Luckily our waiter 'Paulo' was so much better than the floor manager he went above and beyond to make sure the dinner went smoothly the food was okay not great but okay and the portion was extremely small all and all Paulo saved my night n our dinner was very fun not to mention that the entire restaurant helped our table scream surprise for the birthday girl
Food was good, service was great, great wines, something for everyone. Dining was a bit tight, but the area still had a grate scenery, we'll put together to the customers comfort and very welcoming.
This is a wow place for romantic dinners. The ambiance here is very lovely, although the area is very small it is still comfortable. The menu here is very detail and if you are a wine lover this is the place to go have have fine wine. The food is something else, it is worth every minute you have to wait for it.
Nice homely venue in a decent location. Traffic to get there is horrendous. Nothing exceptionally special about the food and beverage options other than them being extremely overpriced. In my opinion there are much better options in Kingston where you can better value for your money.
Cellar 8 is pretty top notch in terms of ambiance and service. The food was pretty good and of course their liquor selection is top notch as well. I enjoyed my amaretto sour and I don't always enjoy it at other places. It's opened pretty late and it isn't too loud so it's great for conversation. A lot of people use it for birthday celebrations. They have an exclusive section, but I don't know what the experience is like there or how to get in. I think you just have to pay for it though.
The food was really good. Really wanted to try the crab dip but it was unavailable so I had the oxtail taco and pasta with a mojito. Everything was good. They also have a great selection of wine.
The space is cozy and can be considered romantic. Had to wait a bit for the food but it was worth it. It's on the higher end of moderately priced. We had an appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 mojito and a fruit drink and we paid a little under $8,000.
I'd go back esp since I wanna try the crab dip.
The ambience at Cellar 8 makes it feel like an upscale wine cellar (if that was the aim Cellar 8, you get 5 stars).
The wines on the menu are of high quality. The cheapest is $700. When I went I ordered the pizza and it was kind of an appetizer (my friend and I went for the wine).
The customer service of the waiters is good; they will help you in your decision if you’re not a wine guru and check up on you to make sure you are okay.
The only issue I had was that the prices were a bit expensive, but what could you expect considering the location and the layout of the place.
Great ambiance with attentive staff, however the food took a very long time to come out. When it did come out however it was good. (i had the lamb)
The setting, service, ambiance and food are on point. However. The bartender needs a lil refresh on his scotch and overall drink knowledge to help guide the patrons. I do feel it will add greatly to the dining experience.
It's a great spot for a date night, business dinner or a more sophisticated drinks with friends affair.
Lovely little wine place. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor. Nothing to complain about. Didn't try the food but I've heard it is fantastic there.
The oxtail tacos are nice! But they are very small. The crab dip is also good. Very spicy though. The place is too pricey though.
I went to this restaurant along with some friends for a birthday dinner. My first impression of the place; beautiful setting nice ambiance and lively. It's important to note that prior to attending this dinner party, reservations had been made and we arrived on time. My friends and I ended up waiting 2 hours to be seated ( we were at the bar area waiting during that time enjoying some pretty nice drinks) but even after this long wait two of my friends had to share a chair, throughout the dinner , due to inadequate seating. To be fair as I have mentioned, the drinks were good and our waiter Milton did his very best to make us enjoy our time. But even with a very attentive server and nice drinks, the food was average at best and honestly not worth the price, never mind that the proportions were really small . It's sad to write this poor review as we had high hopes for this place.
Service and food was delicious.. I'll definitely go back
The customer service was breathtaking. Made you feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. The food was good too! Lol
Food is ok. Servings are small (but then again i eat a lot). Drinks and cocktails are great!
Great atmosphere, customer service excellent just need a little bit more on the menu but otherwise was a lovely experience..Taj big up yuself!
I had a nice evening with some who had visited for the weekend. Nice, quiet mature atmosphere. Customer service was excellent.
