Bob Marley beach is nice get away from the hustle and bustle of kingston. 1st of all the water is crystal clear a far cry from the cloudy water usually at helshire or the murky mess thats kingston harbour. It's cool clean and inviting. Its also hardly crowded at al another thing the separates it from most beaches near Kingston. How ever I am not a fan of the pebbley beach or the sand. However Its still nice chill spot. PS food is sold there but its only done by establishment.

No real shade but if you're looking for rough seas and beautiful shells, this is the place to be!

Wonderful beach, not overcrowded, but needs some trees although you can rent chairs and shade. Excellent Vegan patties, steam and fried fish, festivals and lobsters.

Loved this beach. It was a lucky find. Water was clean. It is not completely calm but not overly rough either. Will come back again and again.

By far one of my favorite places in Jamaica. This is a beautiful untouched black sand beach. Adorned with amazingly bright shades of blue water. The beach boasts approximately 2 miles end to end of coast. It is ideal for the nature lover, outdoor lover, explorer or photographer. Walking east down the coast takes you towards cliffs, with lovely cacti, washed up logs, rocks/stones of all sizes, sand dollars, sea glass and a variety of shells. While the water is rough, there is a small section suitable for swimming that you will see some of the local Rasta community utilizing. Which brings me to the point of the overwhelming friendliness of the people from the near by community. There is also food on sale, including vegan bites.
All and all a great option for anyone living in nearby Kingston, who wants to enjoy some fresh ocean air without driving for over an hour.response / report this review -

Rocky beach with rough waves. Not bad for hanging out and soaking up some rays though. The are also several bar and cook shop options. Seems quite popular so bear that in mind if crowds are not your thing.

The best place to be in Jamaica is the beautiful Bob Marley Beach 🌅 it's a nice beach to relax and enjoy your day off or just to chill out with your family, peers🚶🚶and even that special person🎎 in your life. The salt water is truly amazing it is the highest quality of healing process just come over and see the cosmic and take a walk by the rocks or a swim to get the that healing energy 🏊 🎵
