  Good beach bar at Golden Eye serving a wide selection of largely rum based cocktails including the blended Golden Eye. The bar also serves, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has beautiful views of the ocean and beach with two swimming pools immediately accessible. Definitely try the Jamaican specials including the Ackerly and Salt Fish for breakfast and the jerk chicken for lunch. The green plantain porridge is also an interesting choice. Portions are small so prepare to order several dishes per person. Side dishes are even smaller and are more like a garnish.

  This is a private resort, not generally open to the non-payment public - except on special holiday occasions (e.g., Fathers' Day). We were able to get a special invitation with the permission of management, just for lunch.
  
  GoldenEye, which was Ian Fleming's Jamaican home, is where all of the James Bond stories were written.
  
  It took mere minutes after arriving to get on "Island Time".
  
  Lunch? Jerk Chicken.
