Always look forward to visiting bath fountain whenever I visit Jamaica! Always amazing! I never go to the hotel, I simply climb the hill and enjoy the natural spa and people!

Lovely spot with such a long and colourful history.
The hotel needs to be refurbished - beds in particular need to be paid attention to. Also accountability structures need to be put in place, for example, receipts must be given as a matter of course. the collection of fees need to be computerised.
The community seems to have taken over from the hotel in terms of offering massages. they are upstream offering this service at the same cost as the Hotel. This cannot be so as they are not liable if injury is caused. Also there are environmental repercussions with the use of the various oils to do massages in the river.response / report this review -

Having a full body massage from either a male or female is a huge bonus. Having access to hot and cold mineral water is icing on the top.

When I drove around the coast of Jamaica, I made sure to stop at Bath Fountain and soak in the waters. I've heard that recently it has been troubled with hustlers trying to hike visitors to the natural sections and then charging them for their services. I cannot comment because when I went back in 1978, literally no one was in the area. It's located in one of Jamaica's most lush mountain ranges and gets lots of rain, insuring a beautiful tropical experience for the traveler.

Argument started by the tour guides and local guides. Who is going to do what and then money came into play the experience wasn't welcoming, to see these locals killing their own business and not having any structure it's amazing
