The food was delicious as usual, I think they are consistent, friendly staff, today though there was a little disorganization and when seated the table was not yet cleaned
It is a really good place to keep functions, the food is okay. The atmosphere is captivating to the ye but still room for improvement.
Located not far from the National Stadium, the Alhambra Inn provides an oasis of relaxation in the middle of the bustle of Kingston. They have rooms and suites available as well as a restaurant, bar and conference rooms facilities. Known for their food, they also provide catering services if you wish. Their gardens are a lovely place to spend some time.
Pretty nice. Place is clean. Staff is friendly. Overall is more than I expected the first time. Oh and they have a good enough pool. Not many guest seem to use it so its good if you dont want company
Sunday Brunch! 5 starsauthentic Jamaican food. Very nice atmosphere, friendly wait staff. And the price isnt bad approx $3,000 per person. Not bad
A good hideaway spot . Courteous staff. Good food.
Had my outdoor wedding here the rustic aura of the place with it's history and historical pieces was just what we were looking for. The staff were helpful and pleasant.
Nice and courteous staff. Quaint and quiet setting
Excellent service and decor..
Different. A little run down but unique.
Great rates, excellent rooms and the idea of protecting Jamaica's legacy with all the antiques. Superb.
And it is soooo quiet, the ambiance is amazing, you won't regret it.
Visited on Friday Septemver 8th and the service at restaurant was lousy.
I bought pasta and hot tea and both came cold.
I checked in and had to change rooms. Both rooms smelled old as if no one had been in them all year. The AC smelled dusty and was more like a fan than an AC unit. Dinner was amazing tho and the grounds are pretty but the rooms need better care and cleaning and maybe some updating too.
Lovely grounds. Brunch serves a mix of popular Jamaican dishes that though lovely for adults are entirely too spicy for children. Very economical and affordable though we observed strictly Jamaican cuisine in the buffet.. No offerings of variation was made, but unsure if because we were there at nearly the end of brunch why some of the offerings were not as fresh in appearance. Found the staff polite.
The atmosphere was very rustic and private and close to nature. You can't help but go down Memory Lane with all the Old Items, Billboards and Signs showing you a Jamaica of Yesterday. A visit that is very worthwhile.
Nice ambience. Decorated with antique relics. Food is not bad either.
Has a rustic feel and quiet. Good for weddings
Has this nice old rustic feel to the entire place would go there again.
I hope you like the antique atmosphere because it was a lovely classic feel which was different but enjoyed, the location is very convinent and the accommodation was perfect from bed to bathroom. Definitely fairly priced I must say.
