Prepare to be woken up at 5:00 am every morning to the soothing sounds of mac trucks, mac truck engine breaks, dirt bikes, sport bikes, etc which are literally 20-30 feet away from your bedroom windows on a major Jamaican highway. So close in fact, you feel the traffic is about to drive straight through your hallway. The very ground shakes. Being at the base of a hill ensures those truck engine brakes are blasting all day for your listening enjoyment.
Sade likes to pretend she doesn't understand anything, and will call you delusional if you complain. That is why she stays in the lower portion of the villa which is insulated from the noise.
Horrible experience. We left the city for peace and quiet and ended up staying on a freeway with two useless servants and a nutcase as a host.response / report this review -

Extremely poor customer service, manager/owner is a thief - tried charging us for the basic maintenance the place needed. Staff made us highly uncomfortable and she was very unaccommodating. Wanted to charge us to use the air conditioner! Locks were broken. Just horrendous. Dogs barking all night. What a bad person. Views are nice but not worth the treatment. Find another place to stay. All the little inconvenient things really added up/

we can prove that we were guests at the villa if necessary (another one of sade's bogus reponses to bad reviews)
I think the two worst things that inconvenienced us were as followsnumber one they were doing construction on property throughout our WHOLE STAY from the early hours of the morning to the late hours of the afternoon. Good luck trying to relax - They were building a guest room outside. How in the world do you rent out a vacation home while construction is being done on the premises? The second major issues were the locks around the house, specifically the front door and the gate to the premises. What's funny is when we did check in she mentioned to us how it is crucial to lock the front doors when we leave. On my first attempt to lock the door, the knob fell off. We were cracking up. The door didn't lock at all. It needed to be replaced for years. The door was loose at the hinges and the screws holding the locking mechanism in place were loose. Ironically, after our stay she sent us a bill for $250 for breaking her lock. Also pretty hilarious. Complete scammer this lady. The front gate was extremely heavy and dragged along the floor. Very difficult to open or close. I think we all accumulatively spent around 5hrs of our 5 day stay trying to close our doors properly. The lock was clearly old and damaged and she would have needed to charge us a lot more if we truly did break the lock and the door. The door hinges which were basically falling off were in the same condition as the lock. The same issue applied to the locks on all the other doors and handles on premises.
Upon check in we did not have any hot water for the first two days. Sade claimed the cleaning lady used all of the hot water in order to provide us with clean linen and towels. Not sure what planet she lives on but, that is not our problem. Needless to say we all showered in freezing water. On top of that water pressure completely sucks especially if using two showers at the same time.response / report this review -

MUST READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING!!!
Disclaimer: Before Sade responds and accuses us of being drug addicts or perhaps runnign a meth lab from her airbnb property, please note that we are all drug-free individuals and do not mess with drugs at all. We did some drinking, but then again who doesn't on vacation.
Read reviews on google before booking! Don’t be fooled like us with the nice pictures and several good reviews. It is not too hard to get a few good reviews from friends/family on airbnb but trust us when we tell you those are a HUGE SCAM. If you check on google, there are many people with bad experiences at this place – if you combine them all – those reviews are truly indicative of what you can expect if you stay here.
This place was AWFUL. From the get go, we had a problem with checking in. As tourists, we were late to check in because it was hard for us to find this place. Now of course, Sade is within her right to deny us early or late check in – however she denied us both. Sade was completely unaccommodating when we were late, adamantly stating that we lost a day of our stay at her place and needed to check in the next day at 3 P.M. because we wanted to check in at 8 P.M. as opposed to 7 P.M. deadline. It is important to note that your check in window is between 3 P.M. – 7 P.M. so if you want to enjoy doing any sort of activity during the day of check in you cannot because check in is smack in the middle of the afternoon. When trying to negotiate a late check in Sade was completely rude and insensitive on the phone and basically told us in other words to go F**K ourselves. For two whole hours we had to argue with her and convince her to let us check in late. So we ended up checking in at 10 instead of 8. Keep in mind whole arguing with her, we thought we were stranded so we looked for other places simultaneously. Aside from hanging up on our face and being rude, when we asked for extended check in she was so adamant that she cannot accommodate us. Made it seem like she needed to go home to her kids or something. Turns out, SHE LIVES AND STAYS RIGHT DOWNSTAIRS!
Ironically, this was only the beginning… Sade proved to be completely bipolar and a big Scam Artist (see next review for continuation)response / report this review -

My stay at Afibaview for 7 days was amazing. Sade, the manager, as well as Angela and Annette were more than welcoming and friendly at all times. The place itself is more beautiful in person than pictures can even begin to show. There was an outdoor bar, Tower Jerk Centre, within walking distance that was a great spot to eat, drink, and socialize. The bartenders were awesome!
I never saw any dogs or heard loud trucksso I'm not sure if we stayed in the same place as that other person who wrote a review.
I am definitely going to stay there the next time I go to Jamaica and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay. My 4 girlfriends that stayed with me also have nothing bad to say about Afibaview. We are missing it already and can't wait to return.response / report this review -

Spent a few days at this villa and was the worst experience of my life! Had the most unfortunate encounter with the manager/owner who is highly unstable and couldn't have made our stay any more unpleasant. The villa staff hang out in the kitchen all day sending and receiving phone calls with their stupid ringtones on high driving us nuts! We're from the city we have enough of people on the phone all day and want to get away from that.
The villas maintenance is 3/10. Shower heads spraying everywhere, no cold water in one of the bathrooms only hot (who wants to brush teeth with hot water) drainage issues etc etc.
The villa itself is surrounded by what seems like a zoo at times, cats meowing, dogs barking etc etc absolutely atrocious.
On top of that the villa is directly off a major highway, I live in a busy downtown city and the noise from the highway was unbearable! Truck engine brakes are constant starting very early in the morning as well as a taxi stand being located 50 meters from the villa. The taxis are constantly trying to lure passengers with their horn causing a tremendous amount of racket.
The real problem however was with the manager. This is a person so rude and arrogant I have never dealt with someone more incompetent in my life. She is a liar a scammer and excuse the poor language but a real b i t c h
I have traveled to Jamaica many times and have never experienced such poor service, attitude and conduct my whole life.
There are many more wonderful, beautiful and delightful places to stay in Jamaica do yourself a favour and under no circumstances consider this place your vacation destination you will regret it.
Also, it has come to my attention that there are some websites that have this place at 5 star, it is my opinion that these reviews are fake and/or are friends of the owner/manager. There is no way this place is 5 star!
What a waste of hard earned money.

Recently rented this villa and many words can describe my experience. TERRIBLE, REGRETFUL, AWFUL, TRAUMATIZING ETC ETC.
What was supposed to be a fun filled week in the sun turned out to be a vacation nightmare! We were greeted by the manager (sade) who showed up drunk to welcome us to the villa. She is belligerent, arrogant, rude, annoying however mostly insane!
The villa itself is located directly off a major highway in Jamaica (A3) also at the bottom of a hill. That was very exciting because all the trucks trying to slow down use their engine brakes causing an un-bearable amount of noise starting usually around 5:30am. Such a nice way to start your day in paradise. On top of that there must be 100 dogs within 200 meters of the villa listening to them all night made our sleep so relaxing.
When speaking to the crazy manager she insisted that we were delusional and there were no dogs in the area. Even though she owns a dog that doesn't stop barking.
One morning she called the villa and said we are to leave the villa by mid day as we were smoking marijuana on the deck. Marijuana which is legal in Jamaica and which we purchased from her staff! When she was checking us in she told us to "smoke on the balcony" which of course we did. She said we broke the contract and had to leave and if we didn't she would get her "partner" involved who is a police officer, she threatened me physically if I didn't comply.
We were forced to leave as we felt very unsafe, she is a complete loon, scammer and certainly a drunk.
Also, when the tub wasn't draining and filling up with dirty water her response was "just grab the plunger". Thank you I really want to plunge a bath tub after spending $3000 for a week on my vacation.
Thank you Sade for our wonderful week away!
