Although the hotel is a little tired it is very clean. The staff are excellent and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. A very good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area

Nice quiet location by the sea, good value for money, comfortable bed and GREAT air conditioning which in the summer in southern Italy is much appreciated! The staff are friendly and helpful - the pool is very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious. Room is big and clean - we have a view of the sea (across the street and partially blocked by trees - but we were only on the second floor - It's an older property but nicely maintained for all the important things. Free parking good wifi good breakfast with plenty of choices and the price is reasonable for the are. The only down side is the train tracks are right behind the hotel but the insulation is good and the train is not too frequent - the problem more is getting into Bari when there is traffic because there are few places you can cross the train tracks but if you are a tourist and not in a hurry then it's fine. I think you would need a car - it's on the NOrth side of Bari and far to walk to the city center but great for quiet retreat - and those with a car or transportation. I would stay here again and admire the IBIS chain standards.
Thanks to the receptionist yesterday morning for cheerfully finding us a room at 8 am (or maybe earlier) and allowing us to rest up before heading out for a full day of enjoyment in Bari and nearby areas!response / report this review -

Quite nice pool area. Bit of the beaten track can be difficult to find unless you have a good sat nav. Great view from breakfast room

Ho alloggiato li solo x necessità , dovendo smezzare un lungo viaggio.
Struttura bellissima, peccato che sia trascurata e,il personale,non troppo cortese.
Eravamo in 5, 3 adulti e 2 bambini di 4 e 6 anni. Abbiamo chiesto 2 matrimoniali comunicanti,ma ci è stato risposto che per legge,per motivi di sicurezza, entrambi i bambini necessitavano di un letto. Così hanno deciso di darci una "tripla", che di tripla aveva ben poco: era una matrimoniale con bandina aggiunta. Naturalmente non esiste una legge sulla sicurezza che preveda ciò,inoltre sul sito ufficiale dell'ibis hotel è scritto che i bambini fino a 12 anni soggiarnano gratis Andiamo avanti! Arrivati in hotel ci vengono assegnate le stanze, secondo piano e la receptionista ci informa "dovete prendere per forza l'ascensore poiché le scale sono inagibili" coooosaaaaaa? Dopo aver parlato di fantomatiche leggi sulla sicurezza tenete aperta una struttura con scale inagibili?? Assurdo! Purtroppo non avevamo alternativa siamo dovuti restare,sperando che non vi fossero emergenze perché con le scale "inagibili" (erano realmente "transennate") evacuare sarebbe stato impossibile! Ma sappiamo tutti che al peggio non c' è mai fine, pertanto non possiamo evitare di parlare delle stanze: molto carine, consiglio però di non toccare nulla: la polvere è padrona di casa! I mobili ne erano coperti,cosi come il telecomando del televisoree le tende? Meglio non parlarne e lasciarle come si trovano: oltre alla polvere erano anche macchiate. Tolti questi "piccoli nei" una camera è andata ma nell' altra,come se non bastasse tutto ciò, vi era anche uno sgradevole "odore" di fogna. Naturalmente tutto ciò è stato fatto presente e la risposta è stata "per la polvere siamo spiacenti ma non possiamo fare nulla, pel l'odore spruzziamo un po' di oust: potremmo cambiare la stanza ma non ne abbiamo altre comunicanti".
