  The people are kind, very helpful and polite. The hotel is beautiful and situated close to the town centre, the thermal spa and a beautiful river. Bedrooms are beautifully done. And I am very grateful they speak English and are understanding of my embarrassing attempts at italian! A good holiday made wonderful.

  We had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Windsor Hotel. The owners, Mauro and Cristina, were the best hosts, providing excellent service with all aspects of our stay, from suggestions on activities, driving directions, etc to the great breakfast and attentiveness.
  The room was very comfortable, good bed, good size bathroom with all the conveniences.
  The hotel has a nice garden and pool that guests may enjoy during warm weather stays. It is very centrally located, easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, shopping or just promenade walks!
  We highly recommend the Windsor for stays in Merano!
