Cozy place on the sea shore with more less "private" beach which is of course full in the season, but not overcrowded. I was able to find a place any time. The point is that this resort is in a very small village, so the number of beach visitors is limited. The beach is smaller and beautiful. See the photos.
To snorkeling: you always have two options - beach with interesting bottom, full of life, which is hard to get in, you need to be good swimmer. Or sandy beach with easy entrance, which is not on the top for snorkeling enthusiasts. This one is close to "easy", but still with cliffs and rocks on the sides. Perfect deal. Great for kids, who are snorkeling beginners. Anyway, kids should be careful on places where you life - typically around cliffs or stones, you can step on a see urchin or see anemone. But this is not specific only for this beach, you need to be careful everywhere in the sea around Elba.
You can rent a sunbeds there, but in my opinion is the price quite high. If you buy a parasol in a shop nearby, you have similar comfort for peanuts.
The beach sports - you can rent a wind surf, even with a trainer. I didn't try it. But I definitely recommend to hire a pedal boat, which gives you for a small price nice adventure. You can hire a small motor boat too, if you want too .
Food - one great restaurant serving food around noon and in the evening, one all day beach bar/evening restaurant, both with sea view terrace. Food was great. You typically need to book your table for the evening upfront, either directly in the restaurant during the day, or by phone.
Accommodation is really nice, apartments in a big garden, air-conditioned, most of them with a view to the sea. I have seen complaints that the rooms are small etc. I disagree, but I was of course only in one apartment. I think that the rooms are big enough for the purpose, you are all day long outside, spending only the night or siesta there. There is typically a balcony or terrace where you can eat or play cards.
The resort has an external part with a pool, sports ground and parking. I was glad for the parking, not really using the pool - the sea is so beautiful. But for small kids it could be an option.
WiFi is everywhere, even on the beach, but the speed is less than mediocre. Depends on the time in the day. I was using my cell data quite often.
Where to party - bar on the beach is OK, but at some point you would like to . Which is possible in a close small city Capoliveri. Drink and drive is on Elba quite bad idea, so I liked the fact that there is a bus stop next to the entrance, so you can use direct connection to Capoliveri city center. During the evening it goes every 15 minutes. You can enjoy the beach during the day and go party in the evening. Last bus back is after midnight. Better is to buy the tickets on the reception, it is twice cheaper than in the bus.
I enjoyed the place a lot, in short: beautiful surroundings, nice beach, good food, pretty accommodation, easy connection to the city.
Note for the business owners: The reason I did not give five stars is this - plastic bed protection? Seriously?? I can understand that you guys need to protect the mattresses, guests are sweating, they are sometimes having fun etc, but this is too much. Really uncomfortable and in fact humiliating. I have never seen something like this in other hotels over the world. In cheap rest homes - maybe, there is some reason for it. But in a hotel? Try to think about it, please. Tutto bellissimo. gestione attenta ed accogliente. Servizi ottimi ci si può stare per l'intera vacanza senza sentire il minimo desiderio di muoversi. Da provare almeno una volta nella vita

Posto magnifico, immerso nella natura e con un panorama mozzafiato. La struttura è discretamente tenuta, ma gli appartamenti sono piccoli e vivibili per brevi vacanze. Ottima piscina, ristorante appena sufficiente e qualche zanzara di troppo.

Very nice village with short ways to the beach. Our children can walk around freely because no traffic in the village. Appartements are ok. Sunset is gorgeous.

Villaggio pulito e ben tenuto. Nonostante fossimo pochissimi ospiti fuori stagione siamo stati serviti in tutte le nostre richieste. Strutture organizzate come mini appartamenti di diversa dimensione con possibilità di colazione e pasti nel ristorante del villaggio. Non riconosco le 5 stelle in quanto non abbiamo fruito di tutti i servizi. Peccato che molti appartamenti sono abbastanza lontani dal mare (si parla di circa 100m) ma per chi ha attrezzature può rilevare relativamente scomodo. Mare pulito e spiaggia regolarmente pulita e setacciata.

Il luogo è piacevole e tranquillo, dotato di spiaggia privata, piscina, bar e ristorante. Gli appartamentini non troppo spaziosi ma comunque comodi. La struttura è in buone condizioni e molto pulita. Personale disponibile,

Ristorante splendido per location, ma menù abbastanza prevedibile. Piatti apprezzabili ma digestione pesantina (soprattutto per gli spaghetti alla granseola).. servizio cortese, prezzi nella norma per l'isola
