My husband and I paid for €315 for two people and a car on broad of a round trip between Naples and Catania. I thought it will include a cabin for this price but actually not. We were told to add €102 per trip if having a cabin for two.
I don't know Italian. The web site will automatically switch to Italian when I did the booking even though you have chosen English before. Maybe I missed some the informations.
I think the the ferry is overpriced! At least it's for foreigners.
The ship was clean for the common areas like restaurants and toilets. As we chose to sleep in the leather long sofa, we don't really know about the cabin. It's okay for staying one or two nights.
We are travelling in low season, so there was less people on broad. If you travelled on high season, maybe have to consider to have a cabin or go on broad two or three hours before departure to stay on a sofa.
I heard that there is a new highway from Naples to Sicily. Maybe it's a better way to go by car or bus.

Welcome to the 7th circle of hell where Judas is your bartender and you wish that the devil was there to provide some much-needed warmth. If you've ever stabbed broken shards of glass into your eyes, you may know half of the pain we felt while we took the fetal position under our sweaty, dirty clothes on top of shoved together cafeteria chairs (with armrests that doubled as shackles) for a bed. We were tempted with the blankets that laid just behind the unmanned information desk, but were forced to resort to using the bathroom hand dryer for warmth. We debated sleeping on toilets, on the dark, windy sea deck, and jumping overboard into Poseidon's fury just to gain the warmth that this ship could not provide. We did not realize the toll this Arctic journey would take on our bodies as the other passengers did. Around us, we saw those who came prepared with winter coats, sleeping bags, and air mattresses. Many thoughts of a watery grave came to our minds, but we decided to forge on. Little did we know that we would be treated like livestock being corralled into our last torture where we could see the exit, but not leave for another heart-wrenching 20 minutes. When we finally reached Terraferma, we rejoiced as we kissed the ground and swore to never use TTT Lines again.
