If you are interested in art or architecture, this is an extraordinary place to stay. The house is filled with the host's professional level creations. The renovation of the house and the design elements were fascinating. Breakfast on the patio was a great way to start the stay.
The bedroom has plenty of space. The bathroom is huge and down the hall with a large tiled shower and good towels. (That entire space is essentially yours, so don't let that be a concern. You're not going to be crossing paths with the owners during the night.)
The building is in a neighborhood, so it feels like you're a resident. It's not "in the middle of the action", if that's what you're after. The area around the villa is hilly, and you're going to walk a few blocks before the tourist areas begin. For us, this was a good trade off. If mobility is an issue, plan to cab it to the areas you want to explore.
The home is very close to the train station, but it's a little deceiving on a map. It's almost straight uphill and some streets don't go through or there are lots of stairs. Plan for a short cab ride when you arrive unless you're traveling very light and want to start your trip with a workout. It'll be worth it once you get there.
