  My wife and I just came back from a cruise; Venice to Croatia. Before the cruise we stayed three nights in Venice. While there, Jenny and I went on a few extended excursions with Sireon tours. Every guide was genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and attentive to our needs. A special shout out to Francesco, who managed us on a couple of outings; and to Sarah.
  Sarah took us for a tasting tour in local establishments, and then food shopping at the open markets. She then put us on a water taxi to Lido. While in Lido we were picked up my our host Marika, and her lovely assistant Vanessa, and brought to Marika’s beautiful villa which is also a B&B. Here we learned to cook all the food Sireon Tours bought Venetian style, at Marika’s Acquolina Cooking School. This was the highlight of our Venice experience. Along with the other non touristy excursions we took, my wife and I couldn’t have been happier with Sireon Tours.
  When we go back to Venice, Sireon will be our tour guides.

  We had a great time with Sireon Tours!
  Filomena, our first guide, was knowledgeable, sweet, and an excellent guide. We had her twice and we actually asked her to be our guide on another tour but she was busy that day.
  We also had Rosella who also was an excellent guide and also Anna, our guide in Capri, treated us like family.
  The drivers were respectful, incredible drivers, and dressed very professionally.
  In closing, Sireon staff is something to be proud of. I was impressed all the way through my vacation and was the rest of my family. I would highly recommend any of these guides.

  The Private Naples Panoramic Half-day Tour with Pizza and Sfogiatella was a major disappointment. The guide, Angelo, apologized for his poor English, but that was a gross understatement. He did not have functional use of English and spent most of the time driving us around silently. He offered only four or five one-sentence descriptions of things we were seeing, none more elaborate than “That’s the palace of the king of Naples.” I am not exaggerating. Several times he stopped and asked us to walk around on our own at some of the major sights. We tried to prompt him with simple questions about what we were seeing at a number of points but he could not understand enough to answer. The “pizza tasting” that was supposed to be included was especially bad – he dropped us off at a pizzeria with no information as to what was to ensue. None of the staff seemed to know what was intended either. We ended up more or less ordering lunch, which he paid for, but it was a very strange experience. I called the tour company and complained vigorously (very much like this). They thanked me for the information but offered nothing in recompense. It was not worth the money or time.
