What a spectacular place, very relaxing and you can really feel that you can reconnect with your soul. The sites are incredible. I can say they are not corrupt because they don't ask money for entrance fees etc. and WC are free and clean and you can donate a little if you want, you're not force to pay when you need to use the WC. Parkings are free too.

Restaurants around are not expensive and they have good food worth the money you pay.

Impressive site, both for the beauty of the surroundings and the architectural value. We visited it in a cold winter day when not many people were around and it was a rarefied, subtly spiritual experience.

Fantastic site in a remarkable setting, many of the chapels are quite damaged compared to other sites in Northern Italy, but still worth a look. I didn't get a chance to go up into the mountain for any hikes but it seemed a popular place to do so. Bus from the towns train station was reliable and efficient.
