Merita una visita sia artistica che devozionale. La Basilica è in posizione centralissima, e al tempo stesso dista poco dalla stazione ferroviaria. Vi sono importanti affreschi del Parmigianino ed è la sede dell'Ordine Costantiniano di San Giorgio.

In church are tombs of 26 members of Farnese family, which were Dukes of Parma. It has a baroque altar and a beautiful fresco of the Coronation of the Virgin with Saints.
