Highly recommend this resort. From the start the hospitality has been welcoming with friendly staff. Great spa facilities available for the guests to use. Numerous thermal pools for guests to enjoy in the sun, with a lifeguard on site to cater for towels and any requirements needed for sun loungers. Breakfast has a good selection of meats, cheese, cereals, breads, pastry and fruit. The rooms are comfortable however could be larger. Room service occurs twice a day with a good night chocolate. We have no complaints coming to this resort for our anniversary. Overall a great stay.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it is absolutely perfect. Fantastic location, great facilities and the staff are absolutely superb and help any way they can. We have half board for breakfast and dinner and the breakfast buffet has all you could wish for. Dinners are superb and prepared by their in house chef, which includes 3 courses and buffet to start. There are 7 pools, ranging from infinity pools and thermal pools to the 2 main pools. There are plenty of sun loungers and it has never been crowded so you can sit and relax all day. Rooms are good, but small, as are most in Italy, but you'll hardly use them as you'll be out in the sun all day. They are kept clean and made well. The hotel offers a shuttle service to town all day too so getting to town or the beach and thermal pool park is no trouble. The only minor issue is they do not provide water and since you will need a lot throughout the day you will have to spend 4.50 on bottles each time, but this minor issue doesn't change the fact that this is paradise in virtually every way possible. Can't wait to come back! Superb!

This place was magnificent! Staff went above and beyond our needs. In fact I left my wedding ring in my hotel room as I was checking out, staff found a way to get the ring to me before leaving the property. Housekeeping for the win! Thank you all again, we will be coming back.

Location incantevole, servizio di livello ma mai invadente, cucina eccellente. Il San Montano offre un'atmosfera cordiale e rilassata con un'attenzione al cliente a 360 gradi realizzata grazie ad un personale preparato, disponibile e sempre attento, i servizi offerti sono numerosi e tante le possibilità di personalizzazione. Le terme coperte, con tutti i trattamenti possibili ed immaginabili, e le tante vasche all'aperto sono un piacere che può occupare buona parte della giornata. Molto belle le camere, notevoli le suites bilivello con piscine private e le garden suites con idromassaggio privato in giardino. Servizi navetta continui e su richiesta per i porti e la baia San Montano. Un Resort che invita al relax e che regala un'esperienza indimenticabile.

Amazing hotel in Ischia. Located high up above Lacco Ameno, on the very top of the hill, it features panoramic views of the island, coast, sea as well as mount Vesuvius and the island of Procida that you cand enjoy from a variety of thermal and sea water pools. There's also an indoor spa area (with pool, steam room and sauna) offering a range of massages and treatments. A free shuttle takes you on request down to Lacco Ameno or the San Montano beach (where you get complimentary sun chairs). The staff is super friendly and impressively multi-lingual. There's also a pool bar, a regular evening bar and a restaurant with live music in the evenings. All in all we had a great time and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
