This hotel locates at a convenient place, just 5 minutes from downtown. However you need to pay parking. There's no gym room and that's a pity for 4-* hotel. For the breakfasts, there isn't many choices.

the hotel is near the railway station and the old part of the city is within walking distance staff is friendly rooms are clean but in the bathroom the maid put only one shampoo and one bath for two persons a lotion for the body no breakfast is good but could be a little more choice of salt food hotel has no parking but drive the car to another place and therefore cost 20e per day near the hotel there is a large number of shops with various product as well as restaurants and cafes, pastry shops

We stayed here for 2 nights in our northern Italy trip. The location is really good for a short walk to all major tourist attractions in Verona. The breakfast was adequate and amole to fuel you for the day. No coffee making facility in the room. The sole reason I gave my stay 4 stars was there was some construction sound early morning which woke us up. Apart from that, wonderful stay and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

There were just so many little issues during my stay that contributed to it annoying me continuously. The room was cramped and very poorly laid out. The bathroom light worked intermittently, the shower drain was blocked and the toilet was in such a cramped location I ended up constantly hitting my knee off the wall as I got up. The air conditioning unit in the room did not work correctly, the temperature only worked at or below 20C and the dial to adjust the speed was broken. An extra pillow costs €3 per night per pillow, a kettle costs €10 per night and a glass of water costs 50c. The breakfast was average at best, pastries were dry or burnt on some occasions as well as there being none left. Hot items at breakfast were mostly cold and a good number of breakfast items weren't labelled adequately. The WiFi is terrible too in the rooms. The only good thing going for the hotel is the staff, most are extremely pleasant and nice.

Old style classy hotel. Kind staff clean rooms nice breakfast. I miss the kettle in the room and a gym but for the rest all good.restaurant is also nice just a bit pricy but quality is good. Convenient location. Just a bit noisy with the river just outside. Great open space to work or relax in the reception. Good value for money.

Very fency hotel. Room is great, bed excelent and shower is good. I have nothing to complain about it. It is 10 minutes walking to train station and 20 minutes to downtown.

Unfortunately time has left it's Mark on this wonderful hotel. The rooms are in urgent need of a renovation. Right now I do not see the 4* it boasts as being just.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. I booked it as it is an Accor hotel partner and I got a decent rate through the Accor website but any Ibis budget hotel offers cleaner rooms with better breakfast than this hotel.
The hotel is a short walk from Porto Nuova train station and a 10/15 minute walk from the old town/city centre - that's a plus.
While I booked though a so called economy classic room, so not a full 4 star room as mentioned on the hotel website, I still had expected it to be at least decently clean but as can be seen on the pictures e.g. the carpet was full of stains, furniture full of scratches and marks and the shower/bathtub full of limestone that I'd wonder what the cleaner was doing every day.
That my room was facing the main road and the windows are anything but soundproof is no excuse either for me having an economy room.
That room I had is in urgent need of a renovation.
I cannot comment on other rooms, as others obviously had more luck even when facing main road but mine was, for a 4 star hotel, an impertinence.
The breakfast was a disgrace for a 4 star hotel.
How others can comment that the breakfast is good is beyond my understanding. Obviously they never had really good breakfast.
I stayed three nights but only went twice as I couldn't bear to go there the last morning.
The coffee is poor (in Italy!!!), poor quality for bread, dry, especially the apparent wholegrain bread was not eatable, the cheese is of cheapest kind (most disgusting brie cheese), cannot comment on the meat as a vegetarian.
The fruit selection was okay the first time I went, poor the second time. I had the impression that the left overs from the day before were turned into fruit salad.
The juices are awful. Proper 100% juice to get in Italy is hard (hard time in Italian supermarkets as most are nectars) but these sugary nectars are just disgusting.
The two stars are for the friendly staff and the hall which looks impressive.
If I ever return to Verona I will certainly not return to this hotel.response / report this review -

Delightful and impressive hotel. Staff are friendly, very helpful and good fun!
Some traditional rooms - very impressive and other more modern - beautiful rooms. Ideal location located out of the main busyness.
Mystery solved - regarding issue of warm rooms - it is not the hotel's fault but due to local legislation controlling the use and availability of air conditioning. Not allowed / turned on until summer months .response / report this review -

We were very impressed with the hotel, the only issue was that the room was too warm and the air conditioning did not work. We could not open the window as our room overlooked the busy road to the front of the hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant.
