I had to book this hotel last minute (litterally booked 10 minutes before i walked in). The staff was super helpful, the rooms were great. Best bed and pillow i've had in Europe. And the air conditioner worked (also rare in Europe).

Romano House has truly amazing rooms, ours had a restored painted ceiling with ornate plaster. Breakfast is served until a very welcome 10am. There is some on street parking in front. The hotel is placed between a trendy area of art galleries and bars on one side and a not so nice area with ladies offering their special services at all hours on the other.

Stayed there on May 7th. .An ultra modern hotel with interesting architectural features and well appointed rooms. Staff very efficient. Only serious gripe concerns lost luggage ! I had the misfortune to leave behind an expensive shirt and despite several attempts to alert the management to the problem I had zero success! The moral of the story ? check evrything before you leave because there is no way back !!
