I seriously cannot explain how bad the service was here! We asked to sit outside and we were taken inside instead. Once we got inside we saw why. The people outside we all dressed up and looked wealthy and people inside were all dressed down even though we intended to spend just as much money. We were given menus and left for ages. There were plenty of staff they just kept rushing back and forward from outside. When they finally came to get our order half way through writing it down they walked off to attend to someone outside. When we got our food it was average at best with very small portions. The people around us we all having problems with service. The table next to us all got there food at different times with the elderly women receiving her food much after the rest of the table. Another indoor table asking many times for drinks and the wait staff weren't listening and kept getting it wrong. When our plates were cleaned they didn't even acknowledge us. The staff were also openly fighting for tables. We asked for the cheque and it took 30 mins to arrive. One of our dishes didn't even arrive. We were charged a service fee even though we were hardly talked too.
I would give this a zero star if I could.
Honestly surprised about the bad reviews. We stayed in Rome for 2 nights. Ate dinner here twice. Food was excellent!! We even requested to thank the chef the second night. Our waiter Lucca was very attentive and kind. Food was perfectly made (grilled salmon with salad . baked chicken with potatoes). My aunt and I loved it here. Also you can tell the owners take pride in their restaurant. They were also attentive and hands on. Tiramisu was delicious too :)
The staff at the bar she's very rude. Not so accommodating. Nice place though but had a bad experience with the staff.
I love this place. I don't understand the bad reviews; my husband and I had lunch one day when we passed by on our way to the Trevi fountain and it was amazing. I'm from Mexico and my husband is from Chicago and we came with two Italian friends for the first time so they approved of the food. Then we decided to come back for lunch again three days later and it was the same, the service is great and food is really good. I had ravioli both times (I just love ravioli so much) and my husband had lasagna di mare and it was delicious too(I've never seen seafood lasagna in the USA). I'm happy we found this place because we had horrible experiences with service in Paris France and in a restaurant near the Coliseum in Rome; this place was pretty cool.
Awful. Wasn't given a menu, had to ask. We saw a number of customers not getting served and left. Food was not good, if that was authentic Italian I would be very disappointed. 2 lasagna and 2 soft drinks for 42 Euro, rather spend it on microwave lasagna , probably taste better. Had to wait 20 min just to get the bill. They charged for bread even though we weren't given any, when asked they just said it's a cover charge. Ridiculous. Every other restaurant around is better than this one.
Plane food was better.
Terrible Worst Italian food I ever ate
Rude staff. Avoid
