The food was good, probably the best in Bellagio, but that's not saying much - it's tough to get a good meal in the town. The service less so. It's a romantic place to eat with a stellar view, but I feel the staff try to make it far more exclusive/upscale than it really is. We were not there on a romantic dinner and felt very rushed - the food came so fast - before we even got our bottle of wine - we didn't even get to drink our wine. The waiter also asked for a tip, which I found pretty obnoxious. Other than getting the rush by the staff, this is a good restaurant with solid food and an incredible view.

Food is average, it's the very end point of the island with nice view, staff are average, credit card machine didn't work, kept me there waiting for an hour until they connected and I was able to pay. They did not accept foreign currency. By the time I left, I had to rush for the coach heading back to Milan, so I lost my times sightseeing.

As already stated, the restaurant provides a great view of the lake. Prices are crazy high based on the quality of the food. No vegetarian options on the menu! Ordered a mix of items to make due for lunch. Not much flavor or originality as you get the feeling they don't like people ordering stuff not standard on the menu. Waiter not very attentive to our table. Not likely to return unless someone else paid the bill. Lots of other views of the lake. Better options in this quant little town for better quality food. BTWone of my few 2-star ratings.

Spectacular view, pleasant and friendly wait staff. The food was very good, but not uniformly great. I very much enjoyed the spaghetti with bottarga, but the grilled fish was a little flavorless. The steak was also decent. They also make excellent hot chocolate. A great place to spend a few hours drinking wine and watching the clouds go by.

Views simply unbeatable, very busy location so not totally relaxing. Food was rather bland and dry - we ate the local fish maybe we are spoilt by good ocean seafood? Kids enjoyed their pasta dishes. Good wine list

Excellent service. Excellent place. Excellent food. The guys know lots of languages and the prices are more than fine! It's not cheap, but neither expensive! Considering the place, you'll pay it happy satisfied. I'll return

We wanted to get out of the very tourist section of Bellagio - though beautiful this day was amazing, sun shining and warm wind blowing, so we were looking to find something off the beaten (out of centre of town) path, we wanted a quieter venue, where we could relax over a great meal. La Punta (meaning the point) didn't disappoint. Though of course, they service the tourist crowd, it was somehow different in this setting. They knew how to serve a great expresso - crema on top, their pasta was perfectly al-dente Nothing stopping the views of all Lake Como has to offer.

Hidden from the sun during lunch time the best place to visit this restaurant is in the evening, unbeatable views of the sunset away from the busy streets of Bellagio just 5 min walk away.

Awesome location overlooking the beautiful lake and mountains of Lake Como. We ate here twice and loved the food and service. The staff was very attentive until the meal is complete at which point you will wait a long time for your check even if you ask for it. However, I understand this is quite common in France and Italy. The walnut ravioli was very delicious, the wines great and deserts average. Look forward to returning to Lake Como and this restaurant in the future.

If you are looking for a great view of Lake Como from Bellagio, then look no further. This is it! The food and freindly service is great also. However, you will never forget the view from this restaurant. It feels like it is straight out of some movie.
