Gnocchi was good but the portion a little too small. The sorbetto was excellent.

A group of 6 of us stayed there on the way to and on the way back from Croatia in June 2014. Staff were very friendly, food and drink was very good value and service was very good too. That is why we stayed when we returned from Croatia. I'd stay there again!

This hotel is convieniently located just before the Italy/Slovenia border. Unfortunatly the service is appalling.. The day of our visit, there was a long queue at the border, and some motorists stopped by, the result was we had almost no breakfast left (at 8:00 !) and clearly the staff (the owners) could not cope with this situation, apparently because at least one of them had celebrated something the night before.
My advise: avoid this hotel and Trieste in general if you are travelling to Slovenia/Croatiaresponse / report this review
