Glamourous interior design, great portfolio of artwork and majestic panoramic sea view, all in one place.

Biggest surprise of the holiday in Trieste! It is just so incredibly beautiful. Every room is covered with tasteful, yet glorious décor and filled with beautiful artwork and sculptures.
Where at miramare every priceless vase was labled, here they are standing around casually, giving you a glimpse of the decadence of a bygone era.

Il biglietto a pagamento per salire al bar e poi tutti in piedi uno addosso all'altro. Mumble mumble. C'è qualcosa su cui riflettere. Eppure è sempre pieno. Mi riferisco alle serate al bar. Il Museo? Ah si c'è anche quello.

Hidden gem for architecture lovers since the reconstruction of Carlos Scapa in 1963.

My daughter and I were looking for the Natural History Museum when we found out that the car GPS took us to entirely the wrong place. Fortunately the Revoltella Museum was there instead! The house is beautifully restored to the time period, which gave us a great opportunity to see how the upper class lived in the Napoleonic period. Lasciviously decorated rooms throughout the whole house. Happy accident and we loved it.

A big plus for me was the Suez Canal dedicated room.

It was a surprise to see such large collection of art in Trieste. Excellent! Especially paintings in top floors.
