Very pleased with our 3 nights at Rentschnerhof! Nice and friendly staff, nice rooms, tasty breakfast and a pool to cool down in. There was no air-conditioning in the room, but that was no problem, even though it was 33 degrees.
A bit far to walk in to the city centre, but only 5 min by car and 3€ to park.

The room was nice and had great views of the valley. Great breakfast. Nice outdoor pool. Free parking in front of the hotel. The only minus was the lack of air conditioning.

Colazione buona e abbondante.
Stanze sempre in ordine e pulite nonostante la moquette che darebbe una sensazione diversa.
Parcheggio comodo anche se dovrebbero gestire diversamente i posti dedicati agli ospiti e quelli del bar gestito dagli stessi proprietari.
Personale gentile.
Ristorante: unica cena il 31/12/2016 e nonostante ci fossero state da diversi giorni prima dell'arrivo richiesta di pietanze senza formaggio ed ampia disponibilità sull'alternanza, è stata portata pietanza con formaggio per diverse volte prima di alternativa Nel complesso "cenone" deludente per quantità e qualità.
Posizione ottima con bus che porta in centro ogni 15/20 minuti.
Posto consigliato per posizione rispetto ad autostrada e centro di Bolzano, pernotto, tranquillità e prima colazione.

Old and quite expensive hotel. Half of the rooms are next to a very noisy street. You have to close the windows at night. In summer very hot rooms with fans for cooling. Restaurant was OK but pricey as well. Staff was distant to new customers (us). Bathroom was clean but very old interior, an "old" smell and some damaged furniture.

Ideal location and warm hospitality in the heart of the South Tyrol. This extremely comfortable family run hotel is perfectly situated at the edge of a vineyard overlooking the town of Bolzano below. It is a mere 5 mins drive/bus trip from the town centre, but offers the allure of the peaceful countryside, with its restaurant and bar with balcony (as well as many of the rooms) offering spectacular views of the town and surrounding Dolomites. 4 days were spent here in very clean and comfortable rooms, equipped with all the necessary modern fittings and good bathroom. The hotel is family run, and this element is felt during ones stay, as the hotel is warm and cosy in decor, and the staff are friendly, relaxed, and always willing to help with a personal touch. While there was no lunch on offer at the restaurant, snacks are available at the bar and breakfasts are very nice. We went skiing in the ski areas nearby, which were fairy accessible.

Stayed over for 4 nights at Rentschnerhof Hotel, our arrival was very welcoming and staff very friendly. Nice and quiet area with beautiful views of the vineyards and the mountains. Rooms nice and spacious and has a homely feel. Breakfast was lovely, great variety. Definitely a place that I would recommend and stay again.
