Starting from the bottom, Quattro Canti’s three levels of statues represent the four seasons, then four Spanish kings and four patron saints of Palermo (Cristina, Ninfa, Oliva, and Agata).

Quattro Canti is a baroque square made on 1609-1620. The building contain fountains with statues of the four seasons, the four Spanish kings of Sicily, and of the patronesses of Palermo.
