Great sea, great cities and wonderful food! Strongly suggest to rent a car and choose amongst the cool towns and beaches Lecce, Gallipoli, Otranto to quote a few are a must see, really crowded in August, wonderful from May to October.

Great place with calm and clear sea.
The vilage is fabulous ,walking in these narrow road is so beautiful.

Che dire? Una meraviglia da scoprire in lungo e in largo. Affascinanti i posti, la gente del posto è disponibile e gentile. Manca solo un po' di civiltà nella cura dell'ambiente e degli animali

Our favorite place in all of italy. 7 yeads in a row. Co e after mid September to avoid crowded beaches.

Don't go there in the peak of August with children. Way to busy, you need to get the shuttle to get to the beach, there are queues everywhere, places are pretty but not enjoyable in the slightest. Feels like the locals are not ready to handle the amount of tourists. Most of the activities /bars/beach huts seemed to be run by non-locals, which is a shame
