  If you can experience this place on a bike, do so. Going by car is very limiting. Nice beach and warm water.

  The park is beautiful, but now, because of the fire risk, you have only a very limited offer on hiking trails. You cannot hike alone, a guide is always needed, therefore I would not really recommend it for hikers.
  The trail to one of the beaches can only be used by cyclists.
  The beaches are gorgeous!

  A very nice beach with a lovely drive through Roman Pines past cows and horses. Get the "Big Burger" at the food stand - perfecto and all home grown grass-fed organic.

  Dal Centro visite di Alberese con fuoristrada si accede all'area da dove iniziano gli itinerari. Io ho fatto quello delle torri che consiglio vivamente. Percorso molto vario, che raggiunge anche la spiaggia, panorami da sogno!! In inverno con giornate limpide i colori sono molto più accesi rispetto all'estate, il freddo non è mai eccessivo. Che aspettate, partite!!

  La gita in canoa sul fiume ombrone a cercare uccelli e la gita in bici lungo i pascoli e la pineta meritano certo una visita (meglio se non sotto il sole). Per le altre gite aggiornerò negli anni

  Beautiful park! Well preserved spot with dense maquis and beautiful beaches. No entrance for motorised vehicles (except busses) makes it almost "unnaturally quiet". Lots of wild mediterranean herbs, plants and trees. Pasture with semi-wild cattle and lots of wild boar.
  Guided visits possible, really interesting, giving the Maremma-area visit an extra dimension by linking it to its tragic history filled with plague, pirates and Tuscan pride.
