Hotel is nice, perfect central location, parking area 5min walking distance, nice breakfast also.
We had room with shared bathroom but it was perfectly clean.
This was one night stay but definitely would consider to stay there again for more than one night
The small hotel is very clean and quite comfortable. We were staying in a double room with a private bathroom. The room was very comfy, light and spacious. We had everything we needed. The bed was extremely convenient and huge. The only drawback was the acoustics of the hotel. We could hear everything going on in the lobby, in the corridor or at our neighbours'. And the traffic noise was a bit disturbing at night. It was impossible to sleep with an open window. Too loud.
The breakfast was great. I especially enjoyed the tasty fresh cornettos and the decent coffee. The only things missing were some fresh vegetables and eggs. But there were enough choices to satisfy most tastes.
We also appreciated the 24 hour tea stand near the reception a lot. That is a great option!
Overall we enjoyed our stay at this nice and cosy hotel.
The location and the service are unbeatable!
Cozy place in downtown, very near to some of the best spots in Trieste. Tidy rooms, very friendly personnel. I gladly recommend Hotel Nuovo Albergo Centro as a starting point for sightseeing of this lovely city.
My husband and I arrived at Hotel Albergo for a three night stay during our honeymoon. We'd requested a room with private bathroom. The room was lovely, well laid out, and very clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the wifi strong. Unfortunately, we were visiting in August and there was no AC (as we knew but had not anticipated how hot it would be). We could not keep the window open as we slept as the street noise was too much, and with the window closed our room felt like an oven even with the ceiling fan. The next morning we decided to pay the one day penalty to cancel our last two nights and stay elsewhere with AC. The breakfast in the morning was nicely set up with decent variety. All the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. We would be happy to return for another stay but not until it is colder :)
I need to explain: I enjoyed my stay and appreciated the location, the breakfast and the general atmosphere . The hotel is filled with young people and educated tourists which is a pleasure for both the eyes and the ears. I was disappointed at the very beginning when I found out I had reserved a room with no air conditioning nor bathroom, Honestly I didn't even think there still existed, in 2017, hotel rooms lacking such basic items. However , I was tired and not willing to look for an alternative accommodation (I said to myself it was only for three nights), Actually an earlier stay in Bolzano came to my mind which occurred many years ago, when I was still a university student with tight budget. I was in love and therefore I enjoyed my stay in a room in similar conditions. That memory made me feel nostalgic and romantic. I must say that at the very end I enjoyed the comfort provided by the ceiling fan (I am planning to get one for my home) and, probably because of different timing of other guests I've always found the restrooms with shower both available and clean. Well: If you are romantic and nostalgic and you like being surrounded by youth, having a very good breakfast in a small dining room with books available for reading for free, then you are going to like this hotel. Just think of yourself as a traveller not a tourist. In case you prefer comfort to romanticism then when you book don't forget to ask for a room with bath. :-) As to the price I found it quite expensive to be honest (my colleagues payed almost the same price in a 4 star hotel not far from there). But I would trade some small inconvenience for the great atmosphere.
Staff is very kind and considerate, and they were serving free breakfast with a good atmosphere in the room. The place is very new and technological. Rooms are veery clean and quiet. The bathroom was very big and comfi. We really liked it
It was a nice experience and I enjoyed my stay at Nuovo Albergo hotel. The staff were very supportive and gave the help needed to make my stay comfortable. The location was just right for me and I also liked their breakfast, though few options. The rooms were clean, but ventilation could be improved. The internet connection was reliable and i was able to catch up on work. Thank you and i would visit again.
Good Hotel with nice clean, big room including spacious bathroom.
Staff very friendly too.
Continental breakfast ok and quite adequate to get you started for the day.
The best part is it's location, just a quick walk to the Grand canal, restaurant's, bars and the waterfront.
The railway station is in walking distance also.
Would definitely stay here again.
This is a nice property once you find it. The staff were most helpful. The rooms clean and bright and the breakfast good. Once I got comfortable with the access, I grew to enjoy it. As with all things in life, the people make it positive and you succeeded.
We stayed here because it was recommended by our bus company so was easier to get dropped off here and picked up again from here.. But also because there seemed to be a lack of choice in Trieste which probably explains the high price!
The room itself was big, with a good sized bed but it was very hot with only a ceiling fan to cool you down which wasn't very effective! Having the window was very loud! The location was good and I enjoyed the included breakfast but my girlfriend requires gluten free and there was not much she could eat there.
Overall it is ok to stay here for a couple of days but it is expensive compared to other places, especially as it seemed the only reason to pay more was for the breakfast which we didn't have a choice with.
